Location was perfect for this trip, next time we will stay at the historic center probably. The gym came in handy, as well as the sauna in there. Staff is very nice.
We moved to this hotel because we didn't have enough space in the previous one, and one of our friends that was staying there said his room was very spacious and that he even had a sofa but our room was small and our window was facing a wall so we felt a little claustrophobic in there. I guess we didn't get as lucky as our friend.
It was very clean and well maintained.
Our room was by the elevator and it kept us awake most of the night.
Good quality rooms and bed.
Not the best breakfast ( not many choise at 10:00 morning, cold sosage and eggs.)
Wonderful staff offering the best service
No air conditioning
Location is great, staff is friendly and professional, breakfast is good and the dining room has an amazing view! The hotel istaff s flexible.
Matresses are very hard. We were traveling with two 11 year olds so we booked online to be sure we received a room with 2 queen beds. When we arrived all that was available to us was a room with two single beds. Luckily, it was only for one night.
Excelent location, views and facilities. Try to Get the 4 floor rooms with terrace!
Up-to date design Views Helpfulness of the staff
The distance from the new airport.
We enjoyed our 6 night stay at the Stubel. The staff was great and most of them spoke English. Those that did not, spoke enough to work with us. They were very patient with our broken Spanish too. The free breakfast was nice but it did not change from day to day and we often needed to get our own coffee refills.
All is good at Stubel but the pillows. They are plentiful but too thick and very firm making sleep very difficult. Since there is a local gathering area for the teens and tourists at the scenic look-out right next to the hotel, be prepared for some noise you normally do not encounter on most trips. The police came to the look-out numerous times to break up the weekend nights of loud music being played and partied to by the teens that came the park to party.
front desk didn't know how to process a debit card
Spectacular view overlooking the valley. It is accessible to restaurants and fast food places.
Not nearby local public transportation; travel can only be done by taxi.
Very professional and clean.
Mattresses are hard.
The view was awesome and the room was really confortable
The food was a little bit salty and spicy also a bit cold The room service after we eat didtn go to claim the dishes
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here numerous times and always received excellent service from all the staff. Well located and good value.
Seems the restaurant waiters have become a little reluctant to giving prompt service. They used to pour coffee in the morning now we had to serve ourselves. Just a nice touch we appreciated in past visits.
Staff and location.
The room that was supposed to have great views (as said by booking in my reservation) was given to a wall and some machines... with some noise. The menu in the restaurant was finished at 1.30 pm, non sense.
This is a beautiful hotel with professional staff and a stunning view.
The mattresses are hard. It could be fixed easily by purchasing pillow top mattress pads.
The breakfast was great.
We like the great view in dining room, very friendly and helpful staff and well run. Also the location of the hotel was very convenient to visiting our family living only a block away.
Street noise during the night was a loud on occasion so we had to shut the windows and the room got warm.
Its a really good hotel and the view from the rooms and the restaurant are stunning. Good service they even let me leave my big suitcase there when I was traveling to galapagos for a one week, and they didnt charge me for that.
everything was excellent
it will be good if u change the tables of the balcony of the suites cause they are a little bit old
Breakfast and friendliness.
My suite (101) was dirty (carpet and bathroom) and the toilet had a water leak. We were supposedly to have a suite including hydro massage but it was already token by another guest. They gave me another suite by the same price. It was not a good service. My suite hadn't heating.
best place to stay
all very ok
The location on the edge of the city with a panoramic view on the bohemian village of guapulo and surrounding mountains and valleys is fantastic. It gives the feeling of being in the countryside while still being in the capital. Staff is great, facilities and rooms perfect
Breakfast a bit limited, and different wifi connections on each floor. But it is just recommendations for improvement
The hotel is very good situated close to all major interests. staff is very friendly and helpful. Most rooms have a beautiful view. I would certainly go back to this hotel
The view and the location.
We did not get the room we had reserved; we asked for another room, which we got, but it was still not according to the reservation. This second room was beside a malfunctioning waterpump which started funcioning every minute from 6.30 am onward (on Sunday morning) and did not allow to sleep; when we requested recepcion to do something about this we were told that our claim to desconnect the pump was "unreasonable".
Great view of the valley but...
Great view of the valley but... noone told me that my room was in front of a wall. I had to pay more and of even that didn´t have a room with "views" in real. I could had paid more but noone told me about that "little fact". Extremelly expensive of the laundry service, specially for the socks... it was hillaring for me, more when they told me... oh yes, 70 $ is expensive but you could had gone to that street where there is a laundry service... thankx for the info! ouch, it was after paying the laundry.
