The Hotel offers comfortable accommodation at a fair price. Staff is very accommodating and helpful.
The neighbourhood dogs barking at night were very annoying and kept us awake.
Rooms are great, views from dining area are amazing. In general was a great experience
Breakfast was supposed to start at 6AM but it wasn't ready.
Excellent breakfast is taken in a glass-walled room with stunning view from the head of a huge valley to the mountains in the distance. Utterly beautiful. We ate once in the restaurant and once in the room. On each occasion the food was very good indeed and clearly prepared by someone who cared. The burger(!) for which I had no great expectations was simply superb and among the best I have eaten. Service was quick, efficient and friendly. The elegant male on reception both mornings of our stay was an utter delight and couldn't have been more helpful or created a better impression for the hotel which may possibly be his his judging from the warmth and ease with which he exceeds expectations.
Arrived at 8:00pm after 10 hour flight plus assorted taxis. Two staff on reception, no other customers. We're both in our mid sixties and probably looked as knackered as we felt. We had booked two weeks earlier, subsequently confirmed and had provided a card number. Despite this we were subjected to a fifteen minute check-in during which we stood up and they sat down. We had to pay for our two nights accommodation at this point. The card terminal probably came out of a Christmas cracker and was tethered to their side of the desk by a flex so short that they might as well have nailed it there. You have to use it "sideways" rather than face -on . Connection took three attempts. By this point, my slow (but rapidly increasing) change from cheerful old bloke to very irritated potential psycho must have been apparent. A cup of coffee would have been nice, a large G&T better and being told you have to use your key card to get the bloody lift to move might have saved a couple of jab-shattered finger nails.
Friendly & helpful staff, great breakfast, incredible views, clean modern rooms.
Beds are a little more firm then I'm used to but my partner was comfortable with it so it may just be me.
La vista al Valle es espectacular.
Many from the staf don't speaks English
Location was perfect for this trip, next time we will stay at the historic center probably. The gym came in handy, as well as the sauna in there. Staff is very nice.
We moved to this hotel because we didn't have enough space in the previous one, and one of our friends that was staying there said his room was very spacious and that he even had a sofa but our room was small and our window was facing a wall so we felt a little claustrophobic in there. I guess we didn't get as lucky as our friend.
It was very clean and well maintained.
Our room was by the elevator and it kept us awake most of the night.
Good quality rooms and bed.
Not the best breakfast ( not many choise at 10:00 morning, cold sosage and eggs.)
Wonderful staff offering the best service
No air conditioning
Location is great, staff is friendly and professional, breakfast is good and the dining room has an amazing view! The hotel istaff s flexible.
Matresses are very hard. We were traveling with two 11 year olds so we booked online to be sure we received a room with 2 queen beds. When we arrived all that was available to us was a room with two single beds. Luckily, it was only for one night.
Excelent location, views and facilities. Try to Get the 4 floor rooms with terrace!
Up-to date design Views Helpfulness of the staff
The distance from the new airport.
We enjoyed our 6 night stay at the Stubel. The staff was great and most of them spoke English. Those that did not, spoke enough to work with us. They were very patient with our broken Spanish too. The free breakfast was nice but it did not change from day to day and we often needed to get our own coffee refills.
All is good at Stubel but the pillows. They are plentiful but too thick and very firm making sleep very difficult. Since there is a local gathering area for the teens and tourists at the scenic look-out right next to the hotel, be prepared for some noise you normally do not encounter on most trips. The police came to the look-out numerous times to break up the weekend nights of loud music being played and partied to by the teens that came the park to party.
front desk didn't know how to process a debit card
Spectacular view overlooking the valley. It is accessible to restaurants and fast food places.
Not nearby local public transportation; travel can only be done by taxi.
Very professional and clean.
Mattresses are hard.
The view was awesome and the room was really confortable
The food was a little bit salty and spicy also a bit cold The room service after we eat didtn go to claim the dishes
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here numerous times and always received excellent service from all the staff. Well located and good value.
Seems the restaurant waiters have become a little reluctant to giving prompt service. They used to pour coffee in the morning now we had to serve ourselves. Just a nice touch we appreciated in past visits.
Staff and location.
The room that was supposed to have great views (as said by booking in my reservation) was given to a wall and some machines... with some noise. The menu in the restaurant was finished at 1.30 pm, non sense.
This is a beautiful hotel with professional staff and a stunning view.
The mattresses are hard. It could be fixed easily by purchasing pillow top mattress pads.
The breakfast was great.
We like the great view in dining room, very friendly and helpful staff and well run. Also the location of the hotel was very convenient to visiting our family living only a block away.
Street noise during the night was a loud on occasion so we had to shut the windows and the room got warm.
Its a really good hotel and the view from the rooms and the restaurant are stunning. Good service they even let me leave my big suitcase there when I was traveling to galapagos for a one week, and they didnt charge me for that.
