Baltic Hotel Imperial    

The suiet with Sauna is unexpectedly perfect, a big living room with a large bath tub. Can't be better.

-Very friendly staff -gorgeous breakfast buffet -very nice decorated rooms -clean, much space in the room -very central located in the old town yet quiet

The hotel is situated ideally in the very center of the city. Room was very spacious, nicely equipped and decorated, with kitchenette, breakfast was substantial with very good choice and there was special offer due to Easter. It is very convenient that there are both cafe and restaurant on the ground floor and 2 bakeries just accross the street.

The location was excellent, the bed was perfect and the building was very charmfull

You had to pay a lot extra to use the SPA fascilities.

Great location, just in the Old Town of Tallin. Nicely decorated rooms. Russian speaking stuff.

No parking. (Hotel said that I should reserve hotel parking one month in advance 8-/). I booked double bed. And it was important coz we travelled with our baby daughter. The hotel provided two single beds put together. I asked hotel to change to double bed, but was told that double beds were fully booked before my booking (then why they were available on booking.com?). Though hotel said they can upgrade our room for a bigger one with double bed, but +20 EU. I don't care about 20 EU, but it could be nice if hotel could manage to solve they own booking fault. I payed it though and had a great stay in a huge room.

Excellent location of hotel within the old town. Bars & restaurants within easy walking distance. Very close to railway station. The port for ferry's to Helsinki was a 20 minute walk away - well worth a day trip. Other reviews mentioned a smell in the bathrooms but we were on floor 3 and did not experience this. Beds were very comfortable with good pillows. Hotel clean & staff helpful. Try the 'Coffee In' take-away coffee outlets dotted around for lovely variety of coffees & frappaccino's! The Hell Hunt bar/restaurant excellent for meals, snacks & ale/beer drinkers at reasonable prices! Taxi back to airport cost €15.

Occasionally had to share breakfast table as it got quite busy but wasn't too much of an issue. Kettle in room would have been nice!

We got a better room with sauna (a suite) because of the technical proglems. And another room next to the suite. We were happy. I have been three times in this hotel (once before in the suite) and I knew where I was going while booking the rooms. Location is great! Two of us took massages, very nice!

Room next to the suite was small and didn´t even have shampoos etc. Breakfast was ok, not so excellent as I remembered.

Excellent location in quiet part of Old Town. Good breakfast, nice room, comfortable bed. Will be my regular hotel when visiting Tallinn.

Location - the best for getting to harbor and city center. Nice view. Good breakfast.

In December 2012 there was -16 C, and in rooms was cold.

Shower leaked (reported on checkout), breakfast room a bit naff (supposed to look like Camelot or somesuch and had horrid piped pan pipe music)

The central location in the Old Town and close proximity to the square and all the sights. Relaxing and lovely ambience with good facilities and well maintained. Lovely comfortable beds and rooms. Such a lovely place

the baltic imperial is a small but great hotel, the hotel is only a couple of minutes from the train station, about ten minutes from the port and about fifteen minutes from the airport, the main square is nly five minutes away. the hotel iis very clean, and also very quiet, hotel staff very helpfull, breakfast there is a lot to choose from, the restaurant and bar are also very good. would stay here again.

The location in the Old Town is very nice. The room was spacious and comfortable.

We asked the receptionist to order us a taxi which he happily did. However, it turned out that he called his friend whose taxi was a smelly 20-year-old Chevy Van with dirty seats and broken doors. The van was decorated with bullets and Confederate Flags and an actual wooden office drawer used as a table. Also, the taxi was more expensive than the ones we had used before. Not exactly a kind of taxi you'd expect a 4-star hotel to get for you. There was satellite TV as promised, but almost all of the channels were Russian.

Good value,superb position for exploring the old town. Good transport links. Good breakfast selection - something for everyone.

Only downside was a strong smell of sewers as you walked into the reception area. It was there most of the time. On a practical note older guests would struggle getting in and out of the shower.

peaceful and relaxing

The hotel is connect the old city wall. Walking to your room seem you are live in the castle. The restaurant which you have breakfast, make you like live as in a middle century.

The clean work is not so good in the room. The toilet is not disinfection well and smell terriblely. In the shower, they seem do not clean every day until next guest.
