City Hotel  

My car window was broken in a parking lot near hotel at night. Windows in a room was without handles so couldn't open them and without AC it was too hot in a room. No smoking room. Bad sound isolation of doors, walls.

City hotel is close to Center of a city and also is closed to airport. That makes this hotel very comfortable to stay. Also Hotel is well designed and have comfortable furniture.

Poor sound insulation of rooms

The best thing is location. Situated in one of the main streets at about 10-minute distance from the Old town, public transport is nearby, lots of cafes, restaurants and shopping centers - everything you need is withing walking distance. Also, the staff was really friendly and helpful, breakfast was ok.

Maybe the only minus was that rooms and corridors smelled a bit and walls of the rooms seemed like made from carton - you could hear any sound very easily.

10 min walk from the Old town

It was too expensive for the service we get. We knowed that there will be shared bathroome, but we had to take the bathroome one floore higher and couldn't lock the doors. Somebody was smoking in the roome, but the administrator, didnt't do anything. In our roome interior blinds was broken, so from house beside, everybody could watch streight in our roome.

Overall, I liked my stay very much. The staff of the hotel/hostel (City Hotel is both) was really friendly and helpful. The rooms quite comfortable and quite clean (they were not cleaned regularly, but the litter was thrown out every day). Breakfast is OK, everyone can find there what he or she wants (cereal, eggs, sausages, bacon, yogurt, milk, etc). However, still you should be aware of the fact that you are staying at the hostel-type hotel. The hotel/hostel is located just 10-minutes away from the Old Town, so the location is really convenient. Many people mention that the rooms are not soundproof. To some degree it is true, you can hear the city sounds, but you are almost in the centre of the city, and it is reasonable. Moreover, it did not bother us.

The only thing I can mention here is that it was quite cold in the room, the windows are not very good there, but we moved a bit the beds from the window and it became alright.

Bad smell in the room, poor insulation, for 5 days, my room was not cleaned my room did not follow the order.

It was cold in hotel, but i received second blanket.

Location, closeness to tramlines, views to river and park

good, really good breakfast, good location, good price for people, who visit Tallin for 1 or 2 days

poor shared bath, it could be cleaner and more comfortable for the same money for the room

Do you like breakfast and proximity to downtown

The site has been written that you can use the pool and sauna, it became clear that this is a fee and costs 39 euros per hour. In the rooms have no closets for things and there was no soap, shampoo and hair-dryer, though promised.
