Perfect location! Very nice hotel to stay! Friendly staff!
Great location and good value for money. Easy walk from ferry terminal and just as easy to get into the old town. Hotel was well appointed and a good breakfast included in the room rate.
AC was not working properly. WiFi is very weak. Long distance from reception to the room due to broken elevator.
Walking distance to Old City, parking, nice room, reasonably quiet at night
AC in our room was broken, but they did bring us a fan. Buffet breakfast had many choices but quality was only fair.
great location. helpful sataff
Breakfast was very good !! Clean room
Reception didn't speak Russian .
We went into the bar for a drink and the gentleman on duty was ver, very nice and pleasant, and smiley. My husband ordered a desert and as I was having a taste of it he produced another spoon, so thoughtful of him. Overall we did enjoy our stay, it was our 2nd time and we will return again. Thank you
As we are a mature couple why are we put into top floor rooms, I do not like lifts so had to walk up stairs, fortunately I am fit but my husband is 74 and he took the lift. I then had to return to reception to collect safe key as no one mentioned it. YOur staff on reception seem to find it hard to smile, it can be infectious they should try it. I also think being a hightec city the televisions in the bedrooms could be flat screens and put on the wall.
Good location, silent.
Staff is not very professional. I was trying to make prepaid booking but there were some issues with my credit card, the hotel couldn't authorize it at once and demanded the details of another card. Then suddenly the 1st card was authorized and the balance was taken but there were not any confirmation coming from the hotel until I called them and ask what was going on, Nobody even apologized for inconvenience. During check out date, we went for a walk in the morning and when we came back to the hotel the room was already cleaned. It bring some doubts if the rooms are really cleaned after the checkout and if the bed linen is changed before new guests arrive. The shower was very bad and the shelf in the shower was broken. Most of the staff do not speak Russian and speak quite poor English as well.
The service - I booked early and I received the room preference i requested. Umbrellas provided when it rained.
Really bad WIFI signal. For business purposes doesn't allow you to work properly in your room.
- amazing service and staff - the only hotel to ever send me an email with tips&tricks for Tallinn and useful information before I got there - 15m to the centre - definitely worth the money
Staff and breakfast were good
Architectural design was a bit odd as a converted factory (it didn't look like a hotel) making the hotel very spread out and main entrance difficult to find but if you don't mind a bit of walking and detective work, it works.
We were offered an upgrade at the front desk and after the clerk explained the benefits (free parking, better room, free minibar, etc) we though that this is ok and took it. However, the room was not different from regular rooms (exactly the same size, only difference being the "business class" text on the door) and the minibar included one small beer and 3-4 soft drinks (which were not even cold because the fridge was not cold). Thus, after the long drive to Tallinn we did not even have the possibility of us both to relax and drink a class of wine - not even by paying for that. Did the hotel really expect that we would share one small beer (pay some 20 euros for that in the form of the upgrade) and be satisfied with the upgrade? This upgrade was nothing but cheating the customers.
Excellent breakfast, helpfull staff - we always return back to this hotel :)
Nice, clean. Budgetary place. Ask for quiet room.
Quite new hotel. ON THE ONE SIDE OF OLDCITY ENTRACE. PAKS MARGARITA DOOR. NOTHING MORE.
Reception is quite strict and NOT VERY HELPFULL :(((( -EVEN THEY HAVE A PRIVATE PARKING PLACE. THE HOTEL IS IN A COVERED AREA BUT THEY ASK STH 9 EUR.- FOR CAR PARKING FOR NIGHT. SO U MUST ADD 9 EUROS TO BOOKING PRICE IF YOU TRAVEL W/ A CAR. 9 EUROS.- IS NOT A SMALL MONEY FOR ESTONIA. A FULL DISH DINNER PRICE. WHY SHOULD WE PAY???
Professional staff. Nice gym. Good location. Excellent internet connection whether in the reception, restaurant or the room. Tasty breakfast.
Problems with electronic key. During my three-day stay, I had to have the key replaced four times. The lack of a sauna would be no problem, but why brag on booking.com that the use of a sauna is available?
breakfast, hotel location
need swimming pool :)
Nice and clean rooms. Good breakfast. Close to the old town. Bus\tram stop nearby (about 10 minutes from bus station). Supermarket nearby.
Hotel is located on a loaded roadway. They say that 'executive' and 'business' rooms are located on 'quiet' side of the hotel and other rooms could be on the 'noisy' one :( So be careful if you have troubles with sleeping - your windows could look straight on the road.
- location is perfect: near Old Town entrance, near tram station, near bus station, near Lennusadam - breakfast and restaurant - business room (got instead of standard 'cause hotel was full)
- did not checked in in time (14:00) 'cause hotel was full - in standart rooms can be noisy at nights (windows are to the street with active traffic)
Quirky building and convenient for the old town ,two restaurants nearby
Nothing in particular
An average hotel, with decent breakfast and facilities.
During booking, we asked for a double bed. We got a twin room. As it was late at night, we were promised to get a double bed room the next morning, which at the end did not happen. When we asked the reason, we were told that the double bed rooms were full; this could have been an understandable excuse, if we hadn't booked the room 2 months prior to our arrival. As a comfort to this inconvenience, we asked a late check out or a better room (I.E. slightly bigger with free access to the mini bar and bath suits), but of course we got nothing. It is really frustrating to see at least three different staff member behaving like this; it is clearly a strategy promoted by the direction. Since there is a problem not due to the visitors, they should behave clever and not in a cheap way.
Location + price
Good location, just 5 minutes walk to Fat Margaret entrance to the Old City of Tallinn. Good bright room, big bathroom with all necessary equipment. Breakfast was full and various. And the hotel restaurant was quite an option with rather good quality food for reasonable price!
location and frendly staff
