We were walking in the center of Tartu. We visited Botanical Museum, Toy's museum. You can take a tour by boat also. In the evening we took a diner in cafe on the main square and then drank vine on the balkony of our room. Breakfast was very nice and testy. We can advise to stay in this hotel in Tartu. It's a realy good place. Little bit problems with shower, it has some likages.

Good, clean and large room. Wifi doesnt cover entire hotel as its stated on booking.com. In our room there wasnt wifi. Only credit cards with chips are accepted, so if your card doesnt have chip you can pay only by cash. Its not mentioned on booking.com. So be aware.

Great location, right on the left side from the Town Hall. Very big and cosy rooms, big bathroom and small sauna. Very friendly personnel. Enjoyed our stay there. The cleanliness of some parts of the room was not perfect as well as some hair on the bedlinen and on the pillow.

The location can't be more central, next to the Town Hall. Very good breakfast. Water was only dripping from the tap in the bathroom, not enough to wash hands. The shower was fine so it wasn't a problem really.

Very good Tartu location - in main square - rooms ok - breakfast ok "Welcome" on arival was really bizarre and not at all welcoming (not rude though - just weird) - subsequent younger front staff were fine in contrast to our arrival experience. The hotel is ok but feels old fashioned and lacks pizazz. I recommend "just" but I think there are "sexier" places out ther in Tartu for the same price.

The hotel is located in the centre of Tartu and they offered us a free parking for the car. Easy access to the nearby park, and the breakfast buffet was well supplied and of good quality. The size of the room was fantastic as well, the hotel being located in a wonderful historic building in the old centre of Tartu.

It is very central, but Tartu is so small this is no great bonus. Not a 4* Hotel. Instead of a welcome on arrival we had a demand for payment in full claiming they would be "too busy" to take payment at check- out. Once paid it was "Do you really need Internet?...really?" (It seems only very few rooms can receive the Wi-Fi). Tea/Coffee facilities as advertised were only delivered after several requests. On our last night we were told we could not go for breakfast in the morning because there was a large group arriving! (However a very good breakfast tray was delivered). In addition rooms are hot, stuffy and old fashioned and all we had was a view of a back alley used by urinating students.

The hotel was very cosy and it's location the best possible in the city. Also parking was free (you must book it in advance) and the parking area was locked at night. Some dishes at breakfast were too eccentric. Some pages in the hotel information folder in the room were only in German.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise! The location was ideal and it was one of the best hotels we booked for our 2 1/2 week trip to Estonia. The room was large and comfortable. Also the bathroom was nice size and had all the complimentary soaps, shampoos etc. which most other medium priced hotels in Estonia did not have. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. There wasn't anything we didn't like - therefore no camplaints.

The sheer convenience to being able to walk out into this old university town square after an excellent Estonian buffet breakfast. A delightful setting for a place to stay and relax.

“The staff were helpful and friendly and spoke good English. The hotel is easily found in the middle of Tartu, which is easy to navigate around. We were only there for one night but had a nice walk in the park and found the Wilde Restaurant attached to a theatre, which did fabulous food. The hotel room was clean and had everything we needed, and the breakfast was substantial and varied.” Timothy, Musselburgh |
