Ekesparre Residence Hotel  

Wonderful location and very nice room overlooking the Kuressaare castle. Excellent breakfast, good internet connection and free private parking. Everything was perfect and we had a great time there.

The TV is not very user friendly with the 2 remotes and the most of the channels are pay TV (even Discovery).

The location of this hotel is extraordinary. Our room overlooked the bishop's castle and its moat. It was also a short walk to the town center. The decor was individualized and elegant including gold plated fixtures. The room was not air-conditioned but there were two fans and usually a good breeze off the water. The remainder of the hotel reflected the elegant ambiance of the room in a park like setting.

Occassionally elegance can be a problem. Breakfast was held in a room in which there were lots of very large stuffed chairs and settees. However, this is not a good way to try to eat and was not really comfortable. The food choices were not up to the rest of the hotel either, but were good.

Hotellin Design ja sijainti linnaan nähden,joka on parasta koko Kuressaressa!

Hotellin 5 tähden luokitus on "huijausta"..2-3 Tähteä on ok. Aamiainen vaatimaton....esim. Kahvi oli pelkkää vettä...huonointa,vetisintä,mitä koskaan olen juonut! "Tyttö" respassa ja aamiaisella oli "onneton"varmaankin joku harjoittelija,jota ei ollut opetettu lainkaan! Juustot,leikkeet ym. Loppu...piti kaikkea pyytää lisää...tomaatit kurkut..kaikki samoin! 25.5 oli toinen "tyttö"PAREMPI...kysyi jopa,että haluatteko omeletin!!! Siis,jos mainostetaan 5 star...pitää olla palvelukin sen mukaista,koska hinnat ovat kyllä sen mukaiset !!!!! "5 star on huijaus" 2-3 star oikea ja sittenkin pitää aamiainen olla kunnollinen myös "kahvi" jos puhutaan kahvista.....

Ask for the room with the Balcony - its looks right over the Castle and out onto the Sea. Breakfast was great and on the weekends until 11am. The whole 3rd floor upstairs is an old Library which they have converted into a lovely sitting area so you can take wine and cheese and play games. If you stay at this Hotel you can use the giant Spa, with crazy pools, at their other Hotel 10 minutes down the street for free. You also get 20% off treatments and the restaurant. This Hotel is a treat (:

They played music in the hallway all day from 8am until sometimes after 10pm. It was a little irritating since sometimes you could hear it in the room.

Very nice location in an old, romantic house not far from centre. Magnificent views to the Kuressaare castle.

Neighbouring room conversation could be heard through ventilation. Shared balcony.
