The position of the hotel, in the woodland fringing the bay, was very attractive - rural but still an easy walk into the town of Haapsalu. It is perfect biking country, and we noted that the hotel rented bikes - excellent for getting over to the nearby beaches. The spa facilities were wonderful, and, with free access for guests to pools and saunas, very good value. I wish that we had been there for more than 1 night. I suspect that it would be equally exhilarating for a winter break too. |

Rauhallinen hotelli meren rannalla metsän reunassa sopivan matkan päässä keskikaupungista. Hotellin ympärillä erinomaisia lenkkipolkuja ja pyöräilyteitä. Hyvät uinti- ja urheilumahdollisuudet. |

Bei einer klassischen Estland-Rundreise (im Uhrzeigersinne) bietet sich ein Zwischenstopp zwischen Pärnu bzw. Kuressaare und Talinn wohl an. Allerdings ist die Hotelsituation in Haapsalu grundsätzlich recht unbefriedigend, weil überteuert und eher mittelmäßig. Dieses Hotel wurde während unseres Aufenthalts in erster Linie von Bustouristen genutzt, die das Hotel als Kurhotel auserkoren hatten. Das Frühstück ist - wie die Vorgänger schreiben - eher mittelmäßig. Das kaum genutzte a la carte-Restaurant hat einen Überraschungserfolg landen können und kann hiermit als Geheimtipp empfohlen werden. |

Rauhallinen ympäistö.Aamiainen oli hyvä. Nuori henkilökunta yritteliästä ja ystävällistä. Huonessa ei ollut parveketta. Kaupungille oli matkaa. Olisi voinut olla jonkinlainen kuljetus, shuttle-bus. Kahden hengen huoneen hinta kallis vrt. varustus ja mukavuudet. |

Hotellin sijainti hyvä, sopivan matkan päässä keskustasta. Siisti paikka, hyvät saunat, ehkä vähän pienet uima-altaat, mutta hieno hiekkaranta muutaman kymmenen metrin päässä. Henkilökunnala liian kiire, joskus sai odotella palvelua todella kauan. |

Ausgezeichnete Küche, guter Wellness-Bereich, Kinderfreundlichkeit ein Wort der Erklärung oder Entschuldigung, ohne ´welcome´ , ohne überhaupt ein Wort. Mehrheit des Personals ist verschlossen bis unfreundlich, Kein Guten Morgen, kein Hallo, herunterhängende Mundwinkel sind das Standardgesicht. Man sagt nicht: "Guten Morgen, Ihre Zimmer-Nr. bitte", sondern sieht den Gast fragend an, erst wenn dieser weiter ins Restaurant geht, wird er am Ärmel festgehalten und mit dem lauten Ruf "Room number" (ohne please) adressiert. Mein Wunsch, einmal morgens zwei Spiegeleier zu bekommen wurde erst ganz ignoriert und dann erschien der Küchenchef, die mich belehrte, daß es heute Omelett gäbe. Ich wollte das Spiegelei ja auch bezahlen, nichts da, heute gibt es Omelett. Als wir gegen 23:00 Uhr im Hotel einchecken wollten, telefonierte die Empfangsdame gerade und ließ uns mindestens 5 Minuten stehen, ohne e |

Meitä oli 4 henkilöä, 2 avioparia. Olimme vain 2 vuorokautta, mutta ennätimme saada hyvän hoitopaketin jokainen. Hotellin palvelut toimivat. Oli myös paikallista iltaohjelmaa. Ennätimme tutustua kaupunkiin ja sen tärkeimpiin nähtävyyksiin sekä ympäröivään maaseutuun. Jos olisimme olleet kauemmin, olisimme osallistuneet myös Vanhan musiikin päiville. Vaikka palvelut toimivat kohtuullisesti, todella hyvää tai persoonallista otetta en asiakaspalvelussa todennut. Ei liioin esimerkiksi toivotettu tervetulleeksi hotelliin ja Haapsaluun. Ehkä suomalaisiin nähden koetaan kielimuuria. Ruokien osalta olisin odottanut panostusta paikallisuuteen: tuoreita kalaruokia, lämmintä virolaista leipää jne |

Ystävällinen henkilökunta ja tosi mukava palvelu. Todella miellyttävä nuori tarjoilijanuorukainen ala cartessa. Aamiaisella jäimme ehdottomasti kaipaamaan kylmiä juomia, kuten tuoremehua tai vettä; olivat ikäväön makuisia lämpiminä. Ennakkokäistys rannasn läheisyydestö ei aivan pitänyt paikkaansa, sillä internetissä sai käsityksen, että hotelli sijaitsee rannassa, matkaa kuitenkin oli rantaan. |

Vietimme yön 11/12.06. matkalla Hiidenmaalle metsästämään, mistä su 14.06. palasimme. Olin sopinut, että pysähdymme metsästyksen jälkeen saunomaan, mistä olimme sopineet etukäteen. Saunomisen ehkä korkeahkoon hintaan ei kuulunut pyyhettä eikä kylpytakkia, puhumattakaan uimahousuista. Respa oli tosin valmis vuokraamaan pyyhkeen ja myymään uudet uimahousut, siis kertakäyttöhousut. |
