Georg Ots Spa Hotel    

Nice rooms with sea-view, nice beds, very good breakfasts of great variety and outstanding quality! Good SPA-treatments, well worth money spent. The main touristic attractions of Kuressaare are just 10 minutes by foot along the sea-shore.

People smoke on their balconies. Swimming pool is too small for such a large hotel. Separate asunas for men and women.

Pool was closed in spa area. It was slippy outside from hotel, just behind the door. It was not easy to reach the car . In winter the city was almost empty, the most sightseeing was closed.

The outside pool was great and I they offer very good massages.

The floor in the spa was slippery, I almost fell and saw several children and a few grown-ups falling there.

Excellent service for reasonable price

The room was nice, hotel staff helpful, the towers of the castle can be seen from the balcony. The menu in the evening was quite short, but breakfast is allright, very tasty pancakes :)

The balcony is small and with stamps instead of chairs. But the worst thing was the sauna - separate for ladies and separate for gentleman, where people must go naked (no swimming suit is allowed in sauna). That ruined all fun in the so called SPA. Nevertheless, you can ask for a private sauna, but have to wait 1,5 h untill it gets hot, so plan your time and money (private sauna costs about 35 eur/h).

Great hotel - ideally located right in front of Kuressaare Castle, about a 10 minute walk to the centre of town. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

It is calm and peacefull

A very good hotel for relaxing and pampering. There is a wonderful choice of treatments, and those we experienced were fabulous.

It's a shame that the hotel doesn't offer a varied menu or daily specials for people who stay longer than a couple of nights. The food was very good, and we'd have enjoyed a bit more variety. It would also be nice if there could have been a kettle in the room.

Location, design, spa, atmosphere, music, food

Very nice spa (3 swimming pools, 2 saunas, jacuzzi - all included in the roo price). Spa services are at a very fair price (body massage around 35 eur, facial treatement around 30 eur). Very nice location (close to the yacht harbour). It will take you 5 minutes to go to the sea (with a nice beach). The famous castle is also in a 5 minutes walk. As for the restaurants, I would recommend "La Perla" in the main street and a fish restaurant "KuKuu" close to the Castle. Another place is "Veski" (hope, I do not mix up the names) which is traditionally estonian and is located in the old mill. Nice place for a family and for the couples. May be boaring for young people.

No tea/coffee facilities in the room (usually you expect this in such a hotel).
