I didn't like that the windows in the rooms don't open. Also: this didn't bother me, and people most liable to come here probably know this, but Mustvee is nothing like a resort destination, just a little village with a bus station and grocery on a lake with an oddball sect clinging to its shores. There's no good restaurant in town--just a grotty little pub--but there's a good Russian place just to the south, which the gracious proprietor will direct you to.
I'm told I was the first American to stay here--I liked that. I liked that I could rent a bike and pedal the 7 km-long Old Believers settlement just south of town. The place itself is pretty cool: fairly new, laid out like a motor lodge but with woodsy features--wood ceilings, wood furniture. The rushes that dominate the lake's shore have been cleared to make a decent beach here, though the shoreline is otherwise unprepossessing.
