Superb location, nice staff, good breakfast, free parking, stylish minimalistic rooms - everything you need for a lovely weekend.
No access to sauna.
Nice cosy suite.
In the restaurant they serve gluten free which is not safe for celiacs.
Very tasty breakfast
Size of room, lobby and eating area
Size of towels could be but bigger
Localization Staff very friendly Parking very closed
Location was great. Modern, clean. Wifi worked, although it kept asking for username/password.
Noise from nearby pub/club. But it stopped at 2am exactly. The bed's mattress was especially rubbish.
Had to login every time computer was started.
-location is really good -wifi very decent
-interiors not up to 4* standars by no means -breakfast choice quite basic (avoid "scrambled eggs"- looks like from military field portions) -generally this hotel imo is stuck in 90's
Everything is good, including breakfast.
You have to login to wifi. Maybe 1st world problem.
Everything was wery well planned and everything looks good. You have nicely respect old things in the building.
Everything except the noise from the street :)
The noise coming from the street and especially from a neighboring nightclub/ bar (?) was quite intolerable despite the rooms having good soundproof windows. It was a Saturday night and I was prepared (knowing Tartu and its nightlife) but still did not get a good nights sleep. Perhaps I should have requested relocation into a courtyard facing room..
Hotel is very well located, it is spacious and, as hotels should be, not too personal. Located on the main street leading to the main square.
The hotel restaurant closes quite early, so, no dinner for late arrivals. And in the lobby bar there is no option for any food either, even a sandwich.
The hotel is good and the staff is friendly
The location is terrible ! The hotel is located on the busiest street in the oldtown, that means that you can hear everything from the street. And Tartu is well known as a "student town" - that means that there are a lot of students that like to party at night. Me and my girlfriend statyed for one night on Saturday, and there was a karaoke party on the street till 5 am. When I came down to the receptionist at 3 am and asked her what can she do, she told me that she already called for the police but it didn't help and after that offered me earplugs. This is well known problem of the hotel, but they still rent rooms that face the street, even though they know for sure that there is no chance that you'll have a good night sleep there. Bottom line - there is no use of staying in a hotel that is generely nice, but you just can't sleep there - we were able to fall asleep only after 5 am.
Location was central and easy yo find. Breakfast was good as served Parking services where good and close to the hotell WiFi worked fine at a speed of 5Mb
Coffee machine didn't support special coffeee variations. Directions to the parking space could be given on the web-page. I found it easily after driving aroind the block (of one-way streets)
The design, the location, the breakfast.
clean, comfort, car parking, friendli staff.
breakfast for extra money, noise on the street.
Location, parking, design of exterior and interior, comfortable atmosphere. Breakfast room nicely designed Abundant luxuary breakfast
The lack of attention at dinner - focus on several guests only- after 30 minutes we were told the ordered food was not available, so we left.
Very nice staff, nice location, clean and comfy.
Breakfast should be better, with more ample choice and not-so-basic food.
No conditioning makes this hotel really bad place to stay in hot summer time. Wherever you are, e.g. reception, elevator, you feel like in sauna. Not mentioning rooms - opened windows is a must to survive but then you cannot sleep due to noise from old city streets.
Everything was nearby! Very good breakfast.
Location is excellent, clean.
NO CONDITIONERS in all rooms, including hotel lobby, when outside temperature is over +30C!! And it should be 4star hotel, centrally located? When room windows are to street, then all noise at night will be in your room.
The location is excellent. The hotel is quite basic, but value for money is OK. Breakfast is very good! NB! Ask for yard side room, as for street side the noise can be quite disturbing!
Bed was not comfortable, too soft and floating. No slippers in the room as well. Not enough TV channels.
Great hotel. Staff changed our room to suite to give better view.
