Really nice, large rooms. Huge bath! Really close to the centre of the old town - perfect location

It was my second stay at this hotel. On the next year I will visit it again! Thousands thank to staff!!!

The hotel decor transports you to medieval time with polite and young staff.

Our room was awesome, with a great view and a lot of space

you could hear everything outside and inside the hotel- but it didn't bother us

The room was a bit cold. Our room was at the front of the hotel and noisy at night, Ask for a room at the back.

Staff are friendly, efficient and very helpful. Location v good. Hotel well run, and has character. Rooms are comfortable, breakfast good. V nice place to stay.

One of our rooms was affected by a bad smell from the drains. Hotel swiftly upgraded to a suite, but smell persisted.

Rooms were very warm and comfy,the hotel is very central. Bathroom and sauna in the suite were lovely.

Ice Bar, unfriendly staff and generally it is not in keeping with the rest of the hotel.

Great staff, location, price, comfort. Very clean. Good food. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Much better than was expected. Staff doesn't speak Russian and by my opinion it's a plus.

Location, staff, rooms, facilities and overall feel and comfort

I liked the hotel! There is everything you need. Our room wasn't big but very cozy and comfortable with the window to the inside yard. I suppose it's more pretty in summer) Location is excellent, just several steps to the main square! We liked breakfasts- it's also simple but tasty! Clerks are also very nice, helpful and friendly. We really appreciate that they gave us the room in the early morning long before formal arrival. I recomend this hotel for calm and comfortable relaxing vacations)

Everything. The location was excellent. The staff were very attentive to your every need and stood up every time we entered reception. We had the courtyard suite which was fabulous, loved having a fireplace in our room and our own sauna was a bonus.

My steak which we ordered in the restaurant was not cooked at all, it was actually raw on the inside. On the up side, the curry was quite nice, I expected a refund on the steak, but none was forthcoming.

The staff were efficient and friendly. The room provided exceeded my expectations and, as it was our wedding anniversary, the room had candles when we arrived. Welcome and unexpected. The room was spacious and warm even though temperatures outside were -15c. The location can't be beaten and for the price it was a great choice.

The restaurant provides a variable feast. Prices are fine but it might be best to use some of the many nearby restaurants.

The Merchants House is beautifully located in the centre of Tallinn Old Town. VIrtually all of the sightseeing visits were within walking distance which was good because we had thick snow! The hotel is charming with lots of character. Staff were friendly and polite. Thoroughly recommended.

Environment in city center, nice old building, fully refurbished

Expensive parking, stand alone electric heater in (each?) room, does not seem very safe.

Warm and cosy. Enjoyed the sauna in our room. And having a fire was lovely.

In need of some re decoration here and there.

Its location was superb right in the middle of Tallinn Old Town, and next to the Town Square where the Christmas Market was being held. The room we had, the Merchant Suit, was full of character and exactly as we had expected. The staff were all very helpful and courteous, nothing was too much trouble.

its location is fantastic. Right in the town centre. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and stylish wit a nice view of Thomas. The choice at breakfast was fantastic and the food was very fresh and healthy.
