Brilliant location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast was very good (especially on quiet days when you could order hot food rather than use hot buffet). |

The hotel is excellently located in the city center. The facilities are very good and the room was nice, although a little small. This is an excellent boutique hotel and I will stay here again. The room was very small and smelt of cigarette smoke which I did not like. |

I use booking.com a lot (as much as twice a month), and do not usually take time to write a review, unless I feel that the existing reviews do not do justice to the hotel. Merchants House Hotel is one of those rare one-off hotels which combines excellent location, originality, impeccable design in an historic building and first class service. Highly recommended. |

The hotel has an excellent position just off the main square yet the room was quiet and the internal courtyard peaceful |

We loved the rooms, which were very attractive and comfortable. The hotel is extremely central in a beautiful little street, 2 minutes' walk from the main square. Staff were friendly and efficient. We really loved staying there - very superior comfort. |

Historic building, big room, in the old town Bathroom not very practical. Nothing to hang the towels, no space to keep your make-up or other things you usually keep in the bathroom. |

What a lovely hotel ! Interesting interior design, tastefully decorated, large comfortable room - we even had our own private sauna and bath with a view...wonderful. Location is amazing, couldn't be more central in the old city of Tallinn. |

We got upgraded due to low season and got an excellent suite 213, thank you for that, we really enjoyed the room, the Entrecote restaurant, the Ice bar abd the sauna (private at no extra cost) |

I have paid for parking but I have not even used it - and paid 20.00 eur with out waring that service costs 20.00 eur per night. Very nice hotel, but notice for what you are paying. |

Generally the hotel was good and the service attentive. Any problems were corrected quickly. Given the price of the accommodation I consider the hotel offered only "Fair Value For Money". Certain amenities were lacking. The room was somewhat smaller than one would expect for the cost. The bathroom was small and there were insufficient towels. |

position, toilet and sauna were fine, cleaning was done well, staff was polite and eager, carpet and curtains were very dirty, if your order a twin room it shoulkd be a twin. |
