Hotel Metropol is a modern hotel which is ideally located in the heart of Tallinn. The hotel was established in 1999, but generously renovated in 2006.

Hotel's facilities include a restaurant, cafe and lobby bar as well as a Beauty Salon. Inside the hotel you can enjoy free Wi Fi internet access and there is also conference and meeting facilities.

Hotel information

Among the hotel’s facilities there are two conference rooms that can be used for meetings, seminars and training that are technically equipped.

In the beauty salon, located on the ground floor of the hotel, there is a hairdresser, barber and beautician. Manicure and pedicure services are also offered.

Monday - Friday 8:00 to 20:00
Saturday - 9:00 to 18:00
Sunday - 9:00 to 15:00

The hotel's saunas are located on the second floor and are open for all visitors from 10:00 to 22:00 Monday to Friday and from 11:00 to 22:00 on weekends.

The Casino Mapau is situated on the first floor and offers friendly and secure environment every day from 12:00 till late. Casino Mapau is internationally known brand and belongs to a firm called Sunny Group of Companies.

The hotel is wheel chair accessible and there are two disabled rooms.

Food & beverage

There is a new restaurant, café and lobby bar Berlin in the hotel, open since January 2005.

It serves breakfast and lunch buffets, as well as a versatile supper menu in a 80-seat a la carte restaurant.

The restaurant is open for breakfast Monday to Friday 7:00 to 10:00 and on weekends from 8:00 to 11:00. For rest of the day it is open from 12:00 to 22:30.

The 60-seat café, with it cosy and intimate atmosphere, offers tasty coffee and delicacies, but it is also a great place for business meetings or simply for seeing your friends. There is also a spacious and stylish lobby bar.

The Café and lobby bar are open from 7:00 to 01:00.

Room information

All rooms have bathrooms with shower, and there are many facilites. The room's doors are sound and fire proofed and equipped with the VingCard secure lock.

In the majority of rooms there is also sofa bed arm-chair which can be used as an additional bed.

The fourth and fifth floor of the hotel are designed for non smokers and guests with allergies.

Area information

The hotel is just a few walking minutes away from the historical centre with all its major sights and shopping areas.

Good location. Nice lobby bar.

The room had to be paid before hands at check-in, would be nice if this would be done at check-out... Room had quite thin walls; noice from the other rooms and from outside (nightclub next door) was a bit annoying.

It's location near the Port and the Old Town as well as the Tram Stop (just a few minutes walk). Also liked the rooms and good breakfasts with plenty of choice and a large room, not too crowded.

Being asked for a different price to that quoted on your website! ( 231.50 instead of 219 Euro for 3 nights) I know that's not much but it's the principle. Sorry but I just had to mention this minor point!

My wife and I were consistently pleased with everything about the hotel, staff, accommodations, food - everything. We arrived very late at night, and, because the room category we booked was filled up, we were upgraded.

The close proximity to the Old Town, harbour and also to the modern facilities of the shopping areas.

Slowness of the lifts. The lack of space in the breakfast area - it often spilled out into the bar area.

everything. Principally location, 10minutes walking from ferry to Finland, and a supermarket and the town centre is walking distance too. Walking distance to bus stop to and from airport.

nothing major, though rooms were a bit hot (no A/C in room)
