What I liked about this hostel is that it's clean, well-situated and easy to go the center. The breakfast was so-so, but the price of 4 euros is not suitable. Vana Toomas Restaurant in the old town provides a luxurious breakfast and you can get it for 3,5 euros, which I definitely recommend! I usually don't write negative comments, this hostel is the one I must write about so others should know. First surprise I got when I arrive at this hostel is that I couldn't have the chance to pay by credit card, because they don't have the system for it, although booking information said that paying by credit card is possible. I had less money carried in my pocket. They managed somehow after 3 hours by bringing a credit card reading machine. Second thing, the hostel was too cold in the winter, because they said it was "old house" and heating system was not enough. My dormitory room was -10 degrees celsius. I thought that having a double blanket with my clothes and jacket might help and they didn'T. So I had to leave the hostel on next day.

Clean and homelike hostel. Not a party hostel, but the noise from outside is sometimes too much every night. So take earblugs!

The location Is perfect. The mattress in rooms 4 and 5 are so bad. After one night sleeping on it, your back will hurt a lot. You Can choose sleep on the floor or bed, its the same.

Location, price, free wifi, and ease of booking. The free wifi in airport made mapping directions to hostel very easy. Would like check I will to be earlier or more clearly stated. The staff held our bags so it was fine.

I loved this centraly located hostel, it's position was great. Also the staff was extremly helpful and friendly/ I would recommend this hostel to young travellers, that look for good price. I am not so much into hostels. I booked it, because it was located in the city center. But I was happy to stay there only for 2 nights. Hostel is not my cup of tea.

Close proximity to attractions and cafes in old town. Shopping centres (for rainy days) were also within walking distance. Rooms and the hostel were decorated rather nicely. Our 5 bedder had a huge wardrobe, reminiscent of Narnia. Beds were not bunk beds, which made the room appear less crammed. Heaters were working well, with extra heater in the middle of the room. Receptionist was also willing to offer recommendations on nearby cafes & restaurants upon being asked, which turned out to be very good and fit our budget of course. Brochures could be found beside the reception desk. Bathrooms were clean (and checked hourly, based on the checking sheet in the bathroom) most of the time. Overall quite good, considering that it was 8 euros per night. value for money. Was a little difficult to find initially because the roads in old town sometimes had two names for the same stretch of road and roads were very intertwined. As mentioned previously, bathrooms always had a stale, slightly mouldy smell. Unless you are going to sleep in the bathrooms, this shouldn't be too big a issue since having hot showers (which it did have) was more important to us. No computers available for guests to use. No lockers for guests, only a safe at the reception.

Excellent location in the Old City of Tallinn. The hotel staff was rather cold and seemed not very friendly. The room was so-so, but it was still worth it due to a very convenient location.

It is a great and comfortable place to stay, specially if you are traveling in a group or as solo traveller. the rrom are very cosy, tide and clean, and you can definatly have a good rest, wifi is everywhere in Tallinn. i wasn't given any keys for the room neither for the outside door of the house i was stayin in, but it wasn't a big deal for me.

Location is optimal, inside the Old City and easily accessable, placed in one of the main streets but in a quiet zone, far away from the most noisy streets and squares. The atmosphere is familiar, E.G. for the breakfast. The bath towel was really small.

Excellent location with an excellent price. Also the staff was very friendly and kind! You can hear pretty much everything from the street and also from the hallway, so that makes it to be a little noisy.

“The location was amazing- I was on the 6th floor and had an amazing view of Toompea. The staff were extremely helpful and was very secure. The buffet breakfast was very good- a mix of breads, cold meats, cheese, scrambled eggs, salads, pickles and more with a selection of hot and cold drinks. Extremely competitive price.” Christopher, Ilford |
