landlord did his best to make sure we felt comfortable, room was big and light ,rather studio- own fridge, sink etc.,wi-fi worked, area quiet for good sleep, bikes been useful to reach and explore town
the only sad thing during the stay -nothing to do with accommodation -was to discover that Japanese Knotweed is spreading thru town and local people dont have a clue what it is...
That is the best accommodation during our trip to Estonia. Very good value for money. We would like to especially thank the owner who was very friendly and helpful (and spoke good Finnish). This place has everything we needed for a good holiday at Saaremaa: cozy and quiet sleeping room, nice sauna, equipment for grilling, tea kettle, microwave and some dishes. There were 2 bikes available for hotel guests, good enough to go to Kuresaare center (approx. 1.5 km from the guesthouse), but if you are planning to do longer trips, I would certainly recommend taking your own bike.
Not as much privacy as in a hotel room with this type of accommodation. Keep an eye on your valuables, because you can't lock the door of your room (as there is no lock at all).
very friendly and helpful owner who brought us to the Roomassaare harbour and the bus station. The English speaking children were very helpful too to advice what to do with Midsummerseve. We could use the sauna and the bikes for free.
- 1 km from bus station (so call maybe in advance to pick you up) - owner only speaks Estonian and a little bit German (no English)
Very friendly owner of the house. Possible to use bicycles free of charge. Located in very quiet district, but still walking distance to the castle (10 minutes) and to city centre (15 minutes).
Owner was really worried about our arrival and later provided us with "shuttle" to the airport. Quiet location.
Actually it's a part of owner's home. You have all the facilities needed, but the feeling of no comfort or the barchelor's one. Quite far from the beach and city-center.
friendly owner, quite location, a little outside, nice sauna
description not quite exact, no private bathroom or seaview from own room. Rather homestay then hostel. Still nice, because of sauna etc.
