On the southern tip of Muhu Island, just off the coast of western Estonia and only a 2 hour drive from Tallinn, a small luxury resort welcomes you. Pädaste Manor dates back to the 16th century. Pädaste Manor, on the southern tip of the Muhu Island, dates back to the 16th century and is located in a Baltic seaside landscape.

The comfortable rooms are tastefully furnished with antiques. They also include modern amenities.

The surrounding nature is beautiful and the hotel is privately owned, offering friendly and welcoming service.

Food & beverage

The fine-dining Restaurant Alexander opens onto the atrium, with sweeping views of the park with its ancient trees. The Alexander proudly serves innovative Estonian cuisine, respecting the seasons and using fresh local ingredients. The herbs and greens are grown in the manor’s own garden. At Pädaste Manor, you find the sophistication of the city and the wholesomeness of the countryside.

The warm and stylish, yet relaxed atmosphere of the Seahouse is the right setting for a delicious lunch. The terrace overlooks the meadows to the sea and makes a great place to watch the sunset with a glass of good wine. The Seahouse Restaurant is open every day between 12 pm and 7 pm. Lunch is served from 12 pm to 4 pm, dinner from 7 pm to 9 pm. Reservation are highly recommended.

At the same time there is a lot to enjoy - nature walks, horseback riding and fishing trips, to name a few. The farmhouse was really beautiful and in a fabulous position overlooking the bay. We immediately got into a routine of having a morning cup of tea on the upstairs balcony overlooking the bay before going for breakfast, what a lovely tranquil start to the day. Both the breakfast and dinner were delicious as well as being beautifully presented. The hot tub near the water's edge was a bit pricey but one of the highlights of our whole holiday. Middagen var dyr men värd sitt pris. Trevlig serveringspersonal. Vackert läge vid havet. Luftkonditioneringen I vårt rum (nr 1) var störande högljudd. Ruttnande svampar spred en stark stank bredvid receptions-ingången, borde ha tagits bort. Den dyra lunchen var inte prisvärd. Receptionspersonalen kunde ha varit trevligare.
