The noise seems to be a problem - the street noise is expectable to a point but noise from the next room was not normal. You could hear people talking and child crying all night long. When i mentioned this in the morning at the reception, the lady there said i should next time notify them so they can correct it. But we all know that they wouldn't start calling the family in the middle of the night to silence their child etc. It's just empty words from their side. And before you jump the gun at me for being an annoying customer - i also have small child, i know how it sounds when a child is having a real problem and when child is bored or ignored and just cries out of frustration - this was the latter case.
I love the excellent location; i like that they have free parking (though there aren't too many places); i liked the view from our gigantic room windows towards the central city in the night; i liked that the rooms have proper heating and you can crank it as high as you like; i didn't try breakfast but i did like that a proper pub (meaning, not the hotel operated but independent business entity) is in the same house and you can go there for a meal or drink at any time. They also have a billiards lounge on the first floor, didn't try it, but it's a nice feature.
