There was a fairly limited range of skiing and skating gear sizes available - considering there are lkely to be families with children of all ages, this could be covered better. Also, the beautiful glass tower cafe had only one item of food - a cake - available.
Everything is at your fingertips at Pühajärve - beautiful nature, if snow fails you or the weather is otherwise miserable, there is a large pool, gym, various saunas, bowling alley, full range of spa options - much more than you need, really. There is a restaurant at the resort, the food is all right. The rooms are not massively spacious but you'd be there to sleep in only anyway. We had a balcony which was useful to air the clothes. Everything was clean and staff was very friendly and some of them very, very helpful - one gentleman went out of his way to bring us a kettle and entertain children. This place is probably most ideal for people with kids but anyone else would enjoy it - unless you want to experience more local air - then a B&B would certainly be more befitting. But for a resort type holiday, we could not expect more.
