Valga is kinda meh.
Valga is kinda meh. Not bad, but also not somewhere you would recommend to someone. You can do everything in the town in 1-3 hours. If you're going from Estonia to Latvia by train, make sure you time the train right because there's only 2 trains per day. You don't want to have to stay in Valga. It's kind of a boring border town. Sure come out, go see the world's most relaxed border crossing, but it's really anti-climatic. Defiantly don't book an expensive hotel because you'll regret it. Book Yasmina if you have to stay in Valga, super cheap and comfortable and you won't feel like you wasted your money (as much).

When I got there, I was welcomed by the owner. She explained the inside of the hotel. I was only guest at that night, so I was able to relax. It is very quiet area.
