A pearl from the 14th century – the medieval, but at the same time also modern apartments in the Rataskaevu Residence in the heart of Tallinn, are a great place to stay.
The Residence is located in the old town, approximately 200 metres from the Town Hall Square, on Rataskaevu Street 16. In front of the building you can find the Rataskaevu well, which is well-known from historical books. The medieval building has been restored, saving as many historical elements as possible, such as ceiling paintings, stairs and others. All apartments are carefully designed to combine historical elements and modern furniture. The Rataskaevu Residence business class apartments offer comfortable and quality accommodation in one- to 4-room apartments. The smallest apartment can accomodate 2 people and the biggest is suitable for up to 8 people.
We do not serve breakfast, but are happy to provide to our customers delicious breakfasts at the Restaurant Pegasus or a breakfast room service. The menus are available in the apartments.
Breakfast at the Restaurant Pegasus is served Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 12:00, on Saturdays from 09:00 to 12:00 and on Sundays from 10:00 to 12:00.
Room service breakfast is served Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 12:00, and on weekends from 10:00 to 13:00. This has to be ordered by no later than 22:00 the day before.
All apartments have a living room with a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom(s), and a private bathroom with bathtub, Jacuzzi or shower. Many apartments also have a Finnish sauna. The majority of bedrooms are with double beds. There is one 1-bedroom apartment and one 2-bedroom apartment which offer the possibility to have a bedroom with separate beds. All bedrooms are equipped with bed linen and towels (one big and one small per person).
Most apartments have a sofa bed in the living room. This is an extra bed with the prices shown in the extra bed policy. An additional extra bed could also be added in each apartment.
Please inform Rataskaevu Residence about the following:
1. Your arrival details in order to arrange a meeting for delivery of keys in case you do not use the transfer.
2. In case you wish to use the free transfer on arrival, inform Rataskaevu at least 2 working days in advance about your arrival details (flight/ferry/bus/train name, number, arrival time in Tallinn).
3. If you need a sofa bed.
4. Payment is due on arrival. The payment has to be done in local currency (EEK).
5. In case of arrival after 22:00, a late check-in fee will be charged. The same applies for early check-in (before 09:00), in which case an additional fee of 1 night will also be charged.
