Tallink Express Hotel  

Very good location, just a short walk from the beautiful Old Town. Decent clean rooms, can't really ask for much more at that price! Staff were friendly and helpful and also spoke good English, which is good because it's rather hard to communicate in Estonian! Overall its a very good budget hotel.

This hotel is near the Tallinn ferry terminals and the old city, both being a few minutes walk away. It is easy to reach from the airport on the Bus #2, alighting at the Sadama bus stop. The hotel offers a good buffet breakfast and there is a reasonably priced Soup lunchtime menu. There is Internet access at Reception. There are Smoking rooms available. Our room was clean and reasonably furnished. The tv has English language channels, including bbc World News.

Because of the proximity to the Ferry Terminal, the hotel has many Scandinavian visitors who take advantage of cheap alcohol in Tallinn. The hotel can be noisy at night. We were there for a Thursday and Friday. Thursday night was quiet whilst Friday had banging doors and loud talkers in the adjacent room. It was not too bad but do know that it happens. HAVING SAID THE ABOVE, WE SHALL RETURN TO THIS HOTEL. WE DO RECOMMEND IT. The good outweighs the bad.

Only a short walk to old town which is where we spent most of our time. Close to ferry terminal and convenient to the bus stop which is the last on the route from the airport. Hotel also only 2o mins from airport.

Basic accommodation which was clean but the decor was a bit tired.

Breakfast started at 8.00, a bit too late for my friends who had to leave just around 8.

Excellent location: 2 minutes walk to the port and 5minutes to old city, nice breakfasts, wonderful value for money. Bus no.2 Stops near, so the airport is in easy reach.

Rooms are looking a bit old, but everything is working. If you need the hotel to have a sleep and a shower, this is the best choice.

The room itself was passable for sleeping.

As a matter of fact, I booked this hotel since it was the best available at the time I booked a hotel from Tallin. However I booked myself into another hotel the first moment I had the chance to upgrade.

Good hotel, don`t know why only 2-stars... Stayed there 2nd time. Clean rooms, free wi-fi, free parking place near hotel, good breakfast, good location.

Convenient location close to passenger terminals of Tallinn port and in a walking distance from Tallinn's Old Town. Clean rooms with nice beds. The breakfast buffet is rich and varied.

There were no shelves in the shower cabin, so I couldn't find an appropriate place for my own soap and shampoo. There was no hygienic shower in the bathroom. Some of the receptionists couldn't speak Russian (while some of the numerous Russian visitors couldn't speak Estonian or English). The price of the room varies widely. We paid €110, €52 and €44 for the same twin room for three consecutive nights!

We have chosen Tallink express due to the place, as we have had ferry to Helsinki next day. I would say that it is good economy class hotel in good place if you choose Tallin like transit place.

Good location close to ferry and old town with Bus No 2 from airport within 5 minutes walk as is the No 2 & 4 trams. Railway station about 10 minutes walk. No 2 bus and tram give access to the central bus station for out of town buses. Room comfortable and clean.

15 min walk to old city center. 200 metres from Viking line ferries. 100 metres to tram stop (by which you can go to the coach terminal) Large rooms.
