Housed in the beautifully renovated 15th-century building, the 4-star St. Petersbourg Hotel is the oldest hotel in the city, in the heart of Old Town Tallinn.
Score from 410 reviews Wonderful
Fantastic location in the centre of the old city. Near many nice restaurants. Easy walking to all the city's charm.
There is nothing not to like about this wonderful hotel.
Service and location. Excellent breakfasts.
Room too stuffy and warm. I was told that the air conditioning was not working. Not sure if there is any. No elevators. Safe in room was not working properly - couldn't open it several times and I was reprimanded for not remembering my code. NOT TRUE.
The hotel is nicely located in the city centre. Its artificial Disneyland fairy tale touch may appeal to some customers, though it can alternatively rub the wrong way better educated visitors.
Service is way below standard. We asked for a suite with an extra bed. The extra bed was a barrrack-style cheap folding bed, with a thin broken matrass. On the second day we returned to the hotel at 3pm after morning excursion, and the room had not been made. No chance of a decent rest... We reported to the (male) receptionist (the lady at the reception was on the contrary kind and professional when it was her turn) and he answered with an annoyed tune that he could not know the order in which rooms are cleaned. Not a single word of apology. Breakfast was chaos... they pretend to provide individual service but have neither enough personnel, nor an appropriate organization. Our friends stayed at Hotel Telegraaf in Talinn, finding it much better. We had dinner at their Tschaikovsky Restaurant and were very pleased (we did not try Schlössle restaurants, but they do not look attractive). Note that we are on a Baltic tour and only reported positively about the hotels we stayed in other cities (Domina Prestige in St. Petersburg, Neiburgs in Riga, Kempinski in Vilnius). So, while we are demanding when we pay for a 5-star hotel, we are not unreasonable. Taking stock: Schlössle is absolutely not recommended unless you fancy a tacky Las Vegas medieval experience...
Lots of stairs, if you find them difficult for you
This hotel was a very pleasant place to stay service and food was excellent. Staff were helpful, courteous and friendly would recommend this hotel to anyone
Stylish atmosphere in a medieval building, reflecting the soul of the Tallinn old town. Silent and comfortable hotel with romantic, cozy rooms, fine cuisine and very very helpful staff.
Absence of air conditioning
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly Breakfast was delicious and good selection Hotel was beautiful Restaurant was wonderful - food amazing and service excellent Free Sauna in the mornings
Everything was perfect
personal service, attention to detail, NOTHIng was too much trouble
Good location excellent staff and for a 14th century building good facilities.
The ambience spot on.The candle lit restaurant and cellar bar we loved. The friendliness of and attentiveness of the staff.
Old medieval building with lots of charm. Friendly and helpful staff.
Standard actually not very high considering the price and this being a five star hotel.
Classic hotel with the cozy feeling.
Standard high as always. Friendly staff. Bathroom facilities (towels etc) excellent. Decoration of rooms great.
Pillows a bit too big and hard. One of the two could be bit softer. Husband found bed a bit too short. Air in the room was a bit stuffy (wall-to-wall carpet?)Not much to complain, though!
All-best of the best
Weary small room
Its a beautiful small 5 star hotel located in the heart of the old town. The staff is amazing and super friendly, The breakfast is high class, the rooms are nice and clean and it all looks and feels high class. If you are in Tallinn and can afford to pay more then 150 euro per night then this is your hotel.
There is no gym!
Everything: lovely property, excellent breakfast, great location, friendly service
Beautiful boutique hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, and a great location in Old Town.
Despite all of its advantages, the hotel does not deserve to a member of the Leading Hotels. Two examples: (1) The room into which we were ushered was freezing cold; (2) service at breakfast was excruciatingly slow. There was only one waitress available. Due to time pressure, we gave up on ordering any hot breakfast.
Definitely a 5* hotell with beautiful interiors and nice atmosphere, very kind staff, good breakfast and restaurant. I warmly recommend this hotell for romantic, relaxing and high quality overnights.
I like that the hotel has considered almost everything customers would need when they stay here. Even you don't find it in the room, you can get it from the reception. Staffs were absolutly friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds and pillows were great, the breakfast and the dinner were even better! The interior design was much more beautiful than I expected. It is the best hotel I have ever stayed with.
Sometimes I could hear people walking on the corridor, it didn't bother me at all but I was worried about that maybe we have bothered other travellers by walking or talking loudly.
Great staff - friendly and welcoming. Hotel is in a great central location in the historic old town of Tallinn.
Hotel with service and interior exceeding your expectations
I have not understood why breakfast on Saturday is served from 7:00 to 11:00 if the location could be really apreciated by branch goers, I missed local autumn specialities like sea buckthorn coctail, cranberries etc.
Beautiful boutique hotel, amazing staff that give the best service in the world! Great location, super clean rooms, great breakfast. I just loved this place!!!
There is no gym and I really think that adding one room with a cross trainer + running machine and a few weights will be a blessed addition.
