Excellent small hotel in the old part of Tallinn

The hotel is very high quality. The decor is traditional and the room was very comfortable. The meal in the restaurant was excellent and they provided me with a great guide.

Valley parking personnel damaged our car, no compensation, no cooperation on resolution. Disturbing smell in the bathroom, poor breakfast. Asking price does not correlate to botique hotel level of service even remotely. Avoid.

The temperature control was a problem. Double glazing windows, radiators. Poor ventilation. We really were too hot inside the building. We turned the rafiators down & even slept with an open window on the first week of January. Not many public areas to sit in and relax, since the rooms are quite small. Would have been nice to have a bit more areas yo relax in the winter time, more than the room. The superior room only have 1 chair and we were 2 guests. Just think the need of guests are different in winter than in summer, one is more hotel bound.

The century’s old character of the building, its decorations and the immediately comfortable feeling the hotel offers you is apparent and genuine as you are welcomed by the perfect manners and professional, yet very personable and cheerful demeanor of the entire staff. You immediately become aware that you will be well cared for and will satisfied with your choice of such luxury accommodations. From outside, you realize that the hotel truly cares about their guests safety and its appearance to the public walking past, because it has taken the expensive efforts to have heated sidewalks and entrance walking surfaces installed, to allow no snow or ice to remain, every during very inclement weather. I plan to stay at the hotel again during my next trip to Tallinn. It made my weekend vacation perfect, in combination with the festive Christmas atmosphere that one is surrounded by as you are so close to the Old City Square.

There is nothing substandard about the hotel.

Thehotel staff gave you their undividd attention they made you personal what I man is they always addressed you by your name always engaged in conversation and definetly went above helping you

The only thing was the use of the sauna if I understood u could use it free till 11a and then after that there was a charge I am not sure why it wouldnt be complimentary the whole time

For two nights, awful smell of sewage coming from bathroom due to 'old town drains'. The room was VERY small despite being superior.

The hotel is lovely. The staff were wonderful -- helpful, polite and pleasant. The rooms were beautifully appointed. Dinner in the dining room was excellent. The location is perfect for seeing all of the old town and some of the modern areas as well. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

This small boutique hotel has excellent location in the heart on Tallinn’s old town. We got free upgrade to bigger room which was located on beautiful the 13th century building. Room itself (#19) was spacious and had nice view to inner courtyard. Service level was excellent throughout our stay and we were extremely happy that we have chosen this hotel.

Fantastic location in a quiet street just off the main town square, very luxurious, tastefully elegant reception with antique furniture. Excellent service with staff practically falling over themselves to help us - we were immediately offered refreshments on arrival on the house, and given guidance on sightseeing. Our room was absolutely gorgeous, and breakfast was fabulous. Only wished we were staying longer.

Comfortable room, luxurious accommodation, super friendly and helpful staff and really great cooked breakfasts..

No elevator as it is an historic old building, but not such a big deal as the staff will handle your luggage to/from the room.

The decor and ambience were first class. Jana in the breakfast room was fantastic !!

Being a 13th century building the downstairs room we had was noisy from the people above who unfortunately didn't go to bed till 2/3am!!!

Food quality not up to standards. Frozen fish not acceptable. Poor choice of fresh fish for a coastal town. Difficult to get butter at breakfast. Noisy a/c duct and cramped in room 25.
