Verry good location

Verry darty Hotel, have paid very hi price but the service very poor

For fin people who does not speak other language,very easy to communicate in there.

Beautiful hotel, just a shame about the unprofessional and unfriendly staff.

Was charged an extra 40 euros for a misunderstanding on the first night, I realised this was probably a mistake by the staff but after checking with them for 3 times, they still stood by their decision that I had booked a standard room and I should pay the extra 40 euros. Only on the last time when I doubled checked the online booking on the laptop and brought them the proof did they admit they had made a mistake. This was not the worst part, but rather the staff making snide and nasty remarks to each other as if this was our fault and probably assuming that because I was English I would not understand what they were saying, which I did. Having spent time in many hotels I can safely say this was very unprofessional and poor treatment, the staff did not even offer a token to show they were sorry, such as a sauna pass or some small compensation. In summary, disappointing treatment.

The location is simply perfect, within a few steps from the city centre (actually it is in the city centre) and the Old Town. Viru Keskus (shopping centre) is just downstairs. A big plus for free luggage storage and for beautiful window views over the city.

The breakfast could have had a bit bigger choice and the dining room was rather bad-looking (maybe because of the very poor light). Beware of drunk Finns making noise in the middle of the night in the corridor. Anyway, recommended!

The location and service

The view from our 17th floor bedroom was fabulous,especially at night. We sat and watched the Christmas lights and the cruise and ferry boats coming and going each evening. The snow fall gave the town a magical atmosphere.We were so well situated close to the Old Town. Everything about the hotel was perfect for our three night stay. The staff were pleasant and helpful,the dining room was very busy but the breakfasts were good and the waitresses kept the tables cleared.We took the opportunity to have a massage in our room.This was great fun and a relaxing experience! We liked the closeness of the hotel to the modern shopping centre too, as it meant we were able to depoit our shopping quite easily in our room and continue with our sight seeing. The fact that we knew our passports, tickets etc. were secure in the free security boxes near Reception was an added bonus. We have already recommended the hotel to friends who are thinking of taking a trip to Tallinn. We would like to return, maybe in the summer months.

The only two things we disliked about the hotel:- We had to pass the smokers standing outside the front entrance every time we went in or out. A guest who had had too much alcohol was trying to get into the lift but failing to realise he needed to swipe his card to make the lift work (after a certain time).It's a pity the security guard or reception staff couldn't have put him outside until he had sobered up.

Nice location near the harbour and shopping centre. Short walk to old town and it's sights.

the location was nice, close to the harbour and also to the old town. The view was great and everything else was ok: the room and the bathroom. We had a nice rest.

it was hot in the luggage room. Should improve that guy's working conditions by getting 1 air conditioner and maybe a tv or something :)

3 star hotel, 4 star location.

The rooms are OK but definitely not 4-star. The bathroom is really basic and does not even have a bathtub or walk-in shower.
