Uptodate facilities within an olde worlde building without compromise The economy room was very small (room 114) and the price for this was expensive. |

Excellent opportunity to be in the heart of historical center just a step to the hotel.Very friendly staff. Very reasonable value/quality ratio. Sudden lack of clother-brush in the room. |

Location was excellent. I got a good night's sleep between two days full of getting to know more of the magnificent city known as Tallinn. Great value. |

The hotel is very medevial looking and goes very well with the Tallinn ambience. Its right next to the old city square...hence convenient. The rooms were very clean, though a bit small and cramped. The breakfast was awesome...way beyond our expectaion The rooms are small and cramped. Ok for one or two nights |

Wonderful location in city center, perfect rooms and common spaces decorated in retro style with modern comfort attached. Good variable breakfast for all people's liking. Very friendly staff. There is slightly noisy after midnight in the rooms on the street side. |

Location, breakfast, wi fi connection in the room, and price were all good. No parking provided and the lot we were directed to by the desk clerk was for special permits only; room was too cramped, no elevators, nighttime street noise horrendous, and blatent display of prostitutes in the lounge adjacent to the inner courtyard. |

The hotel location was excellent in the heart of the old town. It maintained the old character of the area (in this case old Russian) including the dress of the restaurant staff. The rooms were dark (I was on the ground floor in the courtyard) but this is inevitable given the building and location. Rooms on upper floors would get more light. Would benefit from better ventilation in the room, though this may detract from the authentic feel. |

The location is excellent and the common facilities were cosy. The breakfast room is huge and amazing with all the paintings and historical feeling. The ventilation motor sound coming right outside our window was quite annoying, because it didn't stop even at night. The freezer was not cold. And the room was smaller than in internet pictures. I reserved particularly a 120 eur room, because I wanted to have a good size room with a window and a view from the window ! Now we had only the opposite window and the motor ! the room number was 130. And one more thing, my husband visited the Ööklub next door just to look around around 11 pm and he was immediately offered women. That is not suitable for a 4 star hotel image. |

Interesting building, upper floors were like a labyrinth! Real medieval house atmosphere. The design was kept in one style. Still the walls were pretty thin (at least the noise came through). And the staff was good in foreign languages, but not in local - Estonian. |

We found the whole hotel to be very quirky, with the wonderful corridors, varying floor levels, beams, and features. |

The cosiness and the elaborate system of staircases, really authentic. My room was on the top floor and although the ceiling was a bit low (I am not so tall) everything was there and right. The receptionist who gave me the key wasn't very friendly. |

It's in the center and the price was good. The smell of the "old house kind" was teribale. Also, you had to go out of the old town to park the car and then walk back. |

The St.Olav Hotel was beautiful and a charming old world hotel. It was in great condition and very comfortable and well located. The staff were very helpful and fluent in english. This was one of my favourite stays on my travels and I am looking forward to going back again one day. |

the central locality--less than 5 min to the main square, the rabbit warren like maze of room, the breakfast room--spacious with period paintings, my wife has trouble with stairs and we were given a room on the ground floor with the special budget rate in the offer |

Nice staff, good breakfast, good location in Tallinn. Room was far too small, basically a double bed with lees than a metre space around it. Bathroom had exposed wood and nails at head height. |

Convenient location just a few minutes away from the main Square in the Old Town. Nice little courtyard. Breakfast was pretty good. Room was a little small and it was a little warm in the summer. |
