The hotel is located very centrally in the old town . The breakfast buffet was excellent - the minibar stuffed and the bathroom beautiful. the hotel is a real good bargain The one bad thing about the hotel is that there is no lift and a lot of smallstaircases and long corridors - so for older people it can be a problem |

Really nice atmosphere, nice staff. Excellent located in the Old Town within walking distance from everything. Breakfast was one of the best at a hotel of this class. They did not have my reservation at all, good that they had vacant rooms! |

The hotel has very good location. Old fashiones interiors :) The breakfast was very good and tasty! Though we took a very cheap room it was nice, but small. Atmosphere in the hotel was friendly. |

The central location, the fine old building, the friendly staff and good price. It could do with a guest key access for after midnight: the receptionjist comes and unlocks, but somehow this seems an imposition. |

The location and the architecture, especially that of the breakfast room. The hotel has some strandards in the rooms that are so low, that the price of the rooms cannot be justified and only compared to a low-star hotel. For example: (1) there is no shower curtain in the bathroom/WC and the water flowing in the WC part of the room creates a big lake that unless the guest cleans it up, he has to walk in a lake until the room can be cleaned. |

What we liked was the prompt service plus friendliness of the staff at the desk. |

We lived on 5th floor, out of 4 ))) i.e. in the loft, 'coz we like heights. But here it makes no sense as you cannot see anything out of the window anyway. Besides the upper rooms are too small, even no wardrobe. But I definitely recommend the hotel to those who love wonderful style - ancient pictures and furniture, good breakfast.. |

The location in Old Tallin was fabulous. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is nicely renovated but has retained some of the original features. The free internet worked well. The room had a nasty smell. The rooms were quite small. Staff not very informed about area. We had the misfortune to stay at the hotel on New Year's Eve and could not eat dinner there due to a party but arrangements were made with another hotel. Breakfast was not available until 11am. As we had a flight - we had to go and find that ourselves which was not easy as all cafes etc were also shut |

Breakfast was great, staff were friendly although could have been a bit more helpful with places to go in town to eat & drink. But generally they were very accomodating in terms of booking taxis and calling the walking tour company to confirm our booking. We loved the medieval character & feel of the place. It was like getting lost in a castle on the way down to breakfast. |

The hotel was ok, except absolute absence of sound insulation between rooms. Some folks in adjacent room were making sex all the night, but I had the feeling they lay in a bed next to mine. One can hear neigbours even if they are speaking in a low voice. Absence of sound insulation between rooms. |

The hotel was located close to everything, an easy walk put me within bars, clubs, restaraunts and the sights. The room was clean and well kept. There was also a free digital safe in the room. A lot of other reviews had put the hotel down for being smelly or confusing due to the corridors. What rubbish. All I can say is that for the price you can't expect gold, marble and bell boys. The extractor fan in the shower didn't work so the mirror steamed up, but so what, hardly something that can't be lived without is it. |

Beautiful hotel, very good location, great rooms. The atmosphere in reception was ruined by loud Russian disco music coming from tv, it does not go together with the stile of the hotel. The staff was not very kind, breakfast looked like they were short of people. |

The rooms are nice and large. The style fit with Tallinn very well. Cheap things, like mirror was hung up with electrical wire, and an extension cording hanging where kids can get to it. Also the internet in the rooms didn't work as promised. The staff was often smoking in the entry to the hotel and this was 4 of the 5 times we came in and out. The staff also spoken primarily Russian. Finally, the staff wanted me to pay cash previously agreed to pay with card. |
