Good location, cool place, cheap, good value for miney
Old building but who cares? ;)
The cleaniness of this place and the goodwill of all people working in this place
Excellent location - right inside the old town. Accessible to most of the sightseeing spots in central Tallinn. Nice and helpful staff :)
Well, the location of the guest house is definitely a huge plus! The room was alright, internet was alright, the breakfast was also okay (some toast, jam, corn flakes). I also liked the house rules, i.e. you must keep quiet after 10 pm and before 8 am ((:
Well, asking for (any) money when you wanna print 2 pages is bit too cheap for my taste.
The management and the staff were absolutely wonderful, and the location is indeed fantastic. The room and the showers/toilets were clean and also warm (which I find important during the cold season), and the continental breakfast was provided as promised. ))
The wall between the dorm and the common room upstairs is really thin and provides no sound insulation, so people who come in late and /or stay up chatting may unintentionaly disturb those who have already gone to bed.
Very nice and quiet place. Clean and staff is very friendly and helpful.
This warm guesthouse is very close to the train station and perfectly located in the old town, with lot of restaurants and bars all around. The flat is has a cozy common room with a big wood table where breakfast is served and guests can prepare their our food. My room was really small but lightened by a big window on the streetside and equipped with a comfortable single bed. I appreciated the no-shoes policy
Very helpful and friendly staff, best position in the middle of the old town, cosy and clean room, toilets and showers
Common room and kitchen are small, but very conducive for meeting other travelers. Location is really good. Toilet is clean. Love it.
Nothing that I don't like. If I have to be picky, I'd say it will be better if the main switch for lights for toilet is located inside toilet. Once someone accidentally switched off the lights and I had to walk out of the shower cubicle and get close to the door and ask people from outside to help
Great basic hostel, clean tidy, Excellent value for money. Great location close to main square. Staff very helpful. Had private room for our group of 4 people.
Stairs up to second floor!
Awesome pretty hostel located in the canter of Tallinn. You can wake up with a good smell of coffee and free breakfast is included. More else, the cool Japanese guy will support you about where to go and what to do.
Location Comfort Breakfast simple and adequate Very clean
The location is excellent, the guy who runs the place a super nice ex-backpacker, and the facilities super. The 8-bed dorm has no less than six outlets for each bunk-bed, each bed gets a locker, and there are two showers and two toilets (separate) for the room. I slept perfectly each night and have zero complaints whatsoever. Super time, I recommend.
Tabinoya is a very good hostel, clean and with helpful staff. It's in the center of old town.
Everyone here was friendly and helpful, from the reception staff to other travelers staying at the hostel. Great recommendations on things to do, places to go. It was a very homey atmosphere. It is a Japanese style hostel, so lose the shoes at the door! (Sometimes difficult to do if you've got a giant pack and hiking shoes.) Breakfast included and tea and coffee available anytime. I was only in town one day, but I would have loved to spend more time getting to know the other travelers.
There is a very narrow and steep stairway up to the hotel. I had a pack and am pretty agile, so wasn't an issue for me, but rolling bags would be a pain. While clean, the room also had quite a musty, old smell. Opening the window overnight helped. Also, earplugs help.
-well located in the city -nice clean room with free breakfirst and kitchen use -very friendly and helpful owner and staff
-nothing to critizise - everything was very great
Japanese guy and his Estonian wife run the hostel. They are warm and happy to give me trip tips. The bed is clean and comfortable, so I could sleep over 8 hours and cure my exhausted body after the long flight from Asia. The place is the best too, is located in old town. The building is old in a good way and the best place is the couch by the windows. I had a cozy and peaceful time thanks to their hospitality.
Private sauna (4 euro)
Clean dorms, good shared room and small kitchenette, where you can cook. Breakfasts are very basic, yet a good free option. Guys and girls at the reception are extremely helpful and nice, recommended me a great coffee place near the Art Museum.
Snoring guy on my second night at the dorm.
Do u know those hostels which makes u wanna stay longer and dont even wanna explore city thwt much? Location is in the best possible spot, staff is really smart and helpfull from all over the world. Price is just a joke :) inspiring travellers out there breakfasts by the big table so u can talk to other ppl. Ive been in quite a few hostels, this one is in that elite category. Thank u guyz.
Familiar atmosphere and kind staff was the best! Also location is the best in the city.
Staff is very nice. Gives a map at arrival and point out what there is to see and good restaurant in the area.
For people who want to explore old town thoroughly, it is the best place to stay. And the authentic Estonian pancakes restaurant is just on the corner!
Bed is comfy but a bit old, which made some noise. Still, I great place to stay.
