Good please for a night
Fair price, reasonable breakfast for a hotel at this level. Clean bathroom.
Smelly drains in the bathroom. Slightly dirty floor in the bedroom.
Even the rooms facing the street are fairly quiet considering all the traffic. Breakfast is better than average and you might even want to enjoy lunch at the hotel restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff.
The only problem is the location, nothing interesting in the neighbourhood and a good walk up an uninspiring street to the old town.
The staff were very helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed using the excellent restaurant and the food was superb. We also enjoyed using the spa facilities.
One small criticism, we would of liked a comfy chair in our room.
very helpful staff
Air conditioning in the room was a wonderful thing in summer heat. Private parking was a prerequisite for our visit. We loved the bed!
There was some problem with one of the windows, which unfortunately caused the street noise to enter the room. The parking was quite small. Veggies in the breakfast table were not all fresh.
All extra were very expensive. E.g. 3.75 for a water seems pretty expensive. Parking the same
good stream of Wi-Fi, air condtition in the room, fantastic breakfast, very close to ferry port and the city
fee for parking - 9 euro, fee for dog - 10 euro, not comfortable beds, noise from the street, it is not really 4 star hotel, 3 will be enough/
Though not in the city center, it's a mere 5 minute walk from the Old Town, passing by the Occupation Museum. I've seen comments sayind "far from city centre", but Tallinn has a small centre and one can walk almost anywhere, so it doesn't really mean anything. The rooms are simple, not too big, but comfortable enough. The bathroom of our rooms (booked 2), had a shower with enough space and no bathtub, which is quite fine by me ( I actually prefer). Breakfast has plenty of options (could improve on fresh fruit juices) and is located on the retaurant. It's nicely decorated and cozy. The reception staff was helpful to let us leave our luggage on an very early arrival (around 7:30 am) and would let us check-in around 10, but we prefered to start exploring the old town and come back later in the afternoon. I understand that people find it charming to stay inside the old town, but the price is worth the 5 min walk.
The window curtains should allow a bit more dark, but I guess it's fine when one travels to the white nights latitudes.
The rooms and the facilities were individual, unique and incredibly comfortable - we loved the library, with all its books, the children's play area with the adorable 'rocking sheep', the quirkiness of the decor, and the vegetable patch on the terrace. Everything had been thought of for our comfort and the staff were top notch and couldn't have been more friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful. The spa was excellent, with great range of treatments that left us glowing with wellbeing. The restaurant is beyond compare - I think I had the best meal of my life there. They use locally sourced and organic ingredients, which are then made into incredible dishes by a chef who is clearly a magician! Even if you aren't staying you should make an effort to go there for dinner or lunch. Not expensive and truly excellent. We didn't want to leave, and we will definitely be going again!
While we were there Estonia had a heatwave of 31°C - a record - and the main hotel was pretty warm without air con, especially in the restaurant. The room was fine, however, and I would not expect this to be a problem you would face very often, if ever! The hotel is a good 10 minutes walk away from the Old Town and that can feel a bit of a walk after a day's sightseeing or a night out. It's also on a main road, which you are a little bit aware of at times if your room is at the front of the hotel.
Room was nice and spacious, reception staff excellent, cute Japanese pool and spa area. Within reasonable walking distance from Old Tallinn
Restaurant at the hotel seemed really strange. We sat there waiting for server for good 15 minutes, then ended up leaving. There were two of them but they chose not to help us.
Good location, not far from the old town. Nice breakfast.
Great service, good breakfast, clean room, 15 min walk from the center, big shopping mall close by, the bathtub was great!
There was no electricity for my hair straightener in the bathroom or near a mirror.. There was a coffee maker in the room with sugar etc but no milk.
All the best
Bar and food good.
Should have had a special offer for the use of spa just for guests.
The Kreutzwald Hotel was in a great location to get to Freedom Square and then from there all across the Old Town district. The breakfast was great and they had some pretty good amenities. The spa wasn't too much to speak of but there are plenty of others in Tallinn.
A few of the days our rooms was cleaned but not every day, otherwise it was fine.
We've upgraded to suite without extra costs. Room was nice and comfortable.
Comfort, nice restaursnt, friendly and cosy staff, not expensive close to Tallinńs mighty centre
Not exactly downtown but walking distance
Everything was excellent!
Not really 4star hotel...
Spa access is not included.
Nice & helpful staff. We got upgraded to a better room with a jacuzzi which was a nice surprise. Good breakfast. Free & working wifi.
Maybe a bit far off from the centre of Tallinn, in a neighbourhood where there isn't much to see or do. Still within a walking distance from old town.
Nice hotel with good location if you are traveling with a car. Good breakfast and helpful staff.
A bit far from the city center.
too soft bed, a crowded parking lot, although it was paid
The wifi worked well.
The park was not free. The hotel is more or less 1 quilometre far from the center. We think the final price is expensive in terms of cost-quality.
It was generally OK.
The location wasn't great... about a 15 minute walk from the old town but located on a busy main road. I expected it to be nearer the centre from the description.
