Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa    

The place is absolutely beautiful, a country manor perfectly refurbished by adapting its old structures to the functions of a luxurioua resort without losing the touch with the history and the surrounding nature.

Some spa services should have been included in the package. this would make the resort more attractive. Furthermore, the restaurant "la Boheme" should aim at having a menu more linked to the Estonian cuisine (alongside the international one). Portions were too tiny and prices for food a bit inflated.

The most I like is a homemade blueberry ice cream in the restaurant

Sauna has to be booked in advance (at least 4 hours)

Beautiful surroundings of national park. Huge cozy territory of an old manor house redesigned as a modern spa hotel. Excellent food and service in the restaurant. Music, furniture and atmosphere make you feel like you have dinner some hundred year ago. Rooms are spacious, nice design. Warm floor in bathroom. As you are in the middle of nowhere, tea and coffee facilities in a room are handy.

Still far from any city even smallest - it becomes problem if you get sick as I did. A way to Tallin to hospital and pharmacy was not a pleasant one. Reception staff differ - we were welcomed with unpleasant one, but the next shift was great. Also, most time there is nobody at the reception, so you need to call to ask what you need

Good base for touring Lahemaa. Some very helpful and pleasant staff in the restaurant and cafe.

Restaurant menu limited. The barn room allocated to us was disappointingly basic for the price. No massage services available - apparently sub contracted out and when my wife asked for one of the treatments listed on the menu she was told it wasn't worth the masseuse's time to travel out. Not a good advert for what purports to be an upmarket eco spa.

The excellent location : in the heart of a national park , there were endless possibilites for coastal and forest walks. The 1st class service : the young ladies at the reception went out of their way to help, the level of service was was similar throughout the staff. Facilities : everything we could ask for was in the manor grounds.

The location and the surroundings. It is very pleasant to walk in the park which is behind the annex where we stayed. The other manors (Sagadi and Palmse are nearby).

Our room was not available when we arrived around 3 p.m., although check-in time is 2 p.m. The reception staff rudely said that check-in time is actually 4 p.m. and put the blame on booking.com for indicating an earlier check-in time ! The room was located in the annex, two hundred meters away from the main building. The breakfast was not up to standard : terrible watery orange juice and poor service. It is vastly overpriced. For 95 €, one expects at least a complimentary bottle of water in the room. Instead, they charge 5 € (yes, five euros) for a small bottle of Evian ... We did not try the restaurant, but had a very good dinner beside Palmse manor.

Lovely place, nice room, comfortable beds. There was a good insect protection window screen in our room. Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast.

We had a superior twin room under the roof of the barn building. The slanted window in the roof is not very big, but if you want to read there are excellent reading lamps over the comfortable beds. Good and very nice restaurant. Very quiet location at the eastern border of Lahemaa National Park. We would choose Vihula Manor again.

The place looks newly renovated. However, in our bathroom some tiles on the floor were broken already due to a warped floor.

Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa is a lovely complex situated in a very lovely area. It is breathtaking to walk around in the extremely well renovated area admiring the beautiful houses and facilities. The guestrooms are located in several houses which is charming during the summerperiod. The room was lovely and has all the necessary facilities, a lovely bed and a nice bathroom with a shower. We stayed in the stable house a couple hundred meters away from the main building where the breakfast is served. The breakfast has both warm and cold dishes and is of high quality. Several products are homemade.

It is not easy to find the Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa. There are some signs on the way from both Tallinn and Rakvere but at several crossroads we really had to take chances of which way to go. Without the map of Estonia we would have had big problems finding the right way - and we are well familiar with all parts of the country.

заплатили за ZEN, но по приезду нас поселили в обычный номер. Когда мы заметили, долго извинялись и поселили в номер класса выше, чем мы бронировали- отдых удался на славу!!! Не стесняйтесь предъявлять претезии!)))

Teenindus väga hea, personal väga lahke ja sõbralik. Võrratu koht ja kindlasti tahaks suvel sinna tagasi minna,kui mitte juba varem.

Fantastiskt fint ställe med vackra byggnader, fin omgivning och mycket trevlig personal. Rummet vi bodde i var fint, rent och med brett utbud av minibar etc. om man är intresserad utav det. Maten förträfflig.

Замечательная добрая атмосфера, очень приветливый персонал, старающийся общаться на русском, замечательные интерьеры, архитектура, ландшафты. Три дня настоящего отдыха и наслаждения. Понравилось и то, что при наличии собственных предложений ресторанного обслуживания, персонал любезно подсказывал альтернативы. Русского люду очень прилично. Все, как обычно, не докучают друг другу, предпочитая держаться особняком (ну такие мы, русские:-) ). И такая возможность есть. Это здорово! Вобщем, всё понравилось!

Очень люблю намазать к амлету, маслице на белую булочку. Но на всех завтраках масло было твердым и мне не удавалось себя порадовать в этом вопросе. А еще, хотельсь бы именно апельсинового сока, а не нектара с какими-то еще примесями. Вот пожалуй и все недостатки (недостатки для меня лично).

Полный релакс: природа, очень стильный, уютный отель, спа процедуры. Перед новым годом было много снега- красиво очень! Хорошие завтраки в милой обстановке. Персонал очень доброжелателен и обходителен. Хотим теперь приехать летом!

Kui meie kohale jõudsime oli kõik lume all !!! Aga ikkagi kõik see kompleks kokku tervikuna. Väga hästi kordatehtud majad.On toad igale maitsele. Teenindajad püüdsid olla igati abivalmid.

Ei olegi otseselt midagi mis ei meeldinud. Kasutasin juhust ja mõnulesin esimesel õhtul mullivannis. Kui just norida, siis selgus et kõigil meie sõpradel oli vannitoas mini tooted mida meil paraku ei olnud.Ja sõpradel oli tavaline zen tuba ja meil zen delux. Ses osas on toateenindaja olnud hooletu. Aga ei teinud sellest numbrit!! Ja peale vanniskäiku häiris vannitoas solgihais :( Köik ei saagi alati suurepärane olla :)

Ensiluokkainen hotelli. Erittäin siisti. Harrastusmahdollisuuksia runsaasti. Aamupala hyvä. Sijainti erinomainen luonnon keskellä.

Olimme talvimyrskyn aikana ja myrsky katkaisi yöllä sähköt. Päärakennuksessa sähköt kuitenkin päällä ja saimme aamupalan.
