grass in parks was not cut well
Located in a lovely historical building. The room was nice, clean and confortable. The bathtub had an hydromassage. Good breakfast buffet.
We profited a very good offer when booking the room, otherwise you may find it a bit expensive
Loved almost everything! Vihula Manor is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the restaurant is good, the spa is amazing, surroundings are superb!
No gym unfortunately. Also, there was a wedding party at one night and the noise didn't let us sleep.
We were totally amazed by this place and all the services and amenities it had to offer. The surroundings are very beautiful and the manor itself is historically very interesting. The breakfast was good and so was the food at the La Boheme restaurant even though the staff there was not always up to their tasks.
The WI-FI did not work properly.
Location, great food offered in the restaurant and excellent service there, friendly staff offering advice
Unreliable internet service in our room, we had a room in the Old Manor hause. However to be fair there was a computer in the room that worked fine so it was only a minor inconvenience - and it is a place when one should take advantage of the nature not being constantly on line :-)
--> helpfull and friendly staff in organizing my transfer --> the whole manor area is beautiful
--> too diligent staff in the restuarants (almost taking your plate while you took the last bit from it) --> all the extras have to be paid, which makes it overprized (10,- for a bike for half a day ...) --> loud music (american evergreens...) one evening in the restaurant and the garden (I came for my peace and rest)
Nice rooms. Nice rurroundings. Good restaurant!
Our first meeting with the staff was close to unfriendly.
This is the best the place to stay if you are visiting Lahemaa national park and you are looking for a high level accommodation. All the nice places to visit are max 20 minutes to drive. Excellent restaurant and luxurious atmosphere are guaranteed here. The staff was extremely helpful.
Save the money and go somewhere else! -Room was in bad condition, blocked shower sink and broken moskito net -blocked shower sink was not repaired for 3 days despite complaint -Breakfast had no milk and joghurt one day, not even milk for children! -Unfriendly staff with poor english skills -Bad service in tavern, long waiting times >90 min despite reservation - Overprized (a copy of a map for Laheema Nt. Park is sold for 1 €, the original in the Nt. Park house is 0.1€)
This hotel was a great experience. We had a very comfortable room and the resort is fabulous. We had the swimming pool and the sauna private because no one else was there at the same time. We had a very romantic dinner at the terrace with very refined dishes at a really affordable price. Only mistake was that there was no milk at the breakfast buffet but this was resolved after 20 minutes.
Beautiful location and gorgeous surroundings. Very classy, almost a bit too posh :) Stayed in a zen room which was the most silent room we have ever stayed in, thus slept really well. Recommend to stay more than one night in order to discover the surroundings!
Considering the "poshness" of the hotel, the breakfast buffet could have had more variety.
Young stuff in leisure center could be a bit more careful with clients..
lady staff at the reception unpolite, unfriendly Tavan restroant service bad
The service, the decor, the room, the restaurant were all excellent.
The hotel is really nice: Staff, room, grounds, food, etc, were all nice.
Had friends who stayed here the same day as us and booked about 6 months in advance. We booked the same day. They paid double what we paid for the same room.
They had plenty of great activities and equipment to borrow. The food was reasonably priced and very tasty.
The bike and boat rental office didn't open until 11am. So, a long bike ride to other towns was a bit hard to get done before nightfall.
Lovely room and grounds. La Boheme restaurant was excellent. Beautiful countryside and nearby hikes.
Perfect location. Lot to to and see in the manor park and surrounding areas.
Room cleaning wasn't too good.
Generous and tasty breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Helpful staff. Beautiful location.
Shouting in corridors and people (drunken guests) trying room doors during night. 'Artificial' atmosphere of holiday village/country club. Separate charge for swimming pool.
Walks in the grounds. Accessibility of national park and wildlife. Integration of estate buildings into hotel complex.
Squashed toads along road bordering lake. Detracted from appearance and gave an indication of negative impact on wildlife in a protected area. Warning signs might at least reduce the impact and show recognition of the issue.
Location and the surrounding. Also - the breakfast.
The older rooms in the main house were somewhat in a need of an update.
wery poor hotel not 4 star
We really loved everything - landscape (which is National Lahemaa Park), staff (polite and ready to help& interested in their work), the design and condition of rooms and activities (swimming pool, our room in ancient farm-yard), ecological concept of the whole manor, interesting cuisine from local food, proper european management and so far. We'll definitely come back.
Nice buildings, well taken care of gardens. Good breakfast. Short way to Rakvere for shops and restaurants.
I wrote before going there email, that we are travelling with dogs - still we were accommodated to 3rd floor of old building, which was not easy for us; old building where everybody can hear everything, not speaking about when need to move outside quite a few times with dogs down from 3rd floor to 1st, and back. Small room.
Very good place for country side vacations
Deserts in restoran is not good
