I need to re-enter the password for Wifi every time And it is expensive
overall the room was good.
the noise from the construction just outside my window. plus noise from the street. the breakfast was so so.
Inexpensive room rate cleaning room polite house keeping staff and reception
Location always traffic jam and impolite security always keeping asking you when u enter the hotel where are u going?and the resturant coffee close early in Ramadan at 12:00am
First...this glowing review follows visits to 19 different countries & hotel stays in esteemed properties like LeMeurice & George v in Paris. The staff was attentive to every need. The property is in beautiful condition and extremely well kept. The value is great, especially compared with other Cairo properties of comparable and greater *** (star ratings). I am extremely demanding re: cleanliness. Barcelona was a 10+ / 10. The gift of water+fresh fruit in my room was a welcome surprise daily and the pool and surrounding cabanas were an oasis of relaxation following my flight from nyc and preceding 5 weeks of volunteer work in Cairo. I may never go to another Cairo hotel again! Bravo to Mohammed at the front desk and to Maher Metry, the duty manager, who graciously listened to my stories about my volunteer work in Egypt. Thank u Amany who made check out quick & simple and to the chamber person who left me fresh roses. Perfecto Barcelo!
I loved everything!
clean and location , value of money , late checkout
We had interconnecting rooms, but without a view and the staff moved us to rooms with a view. The staff were very friendly. The english speaking guide booked by the hotel was excellent and looked after us, especially when there was tension and protests on the Friday afternoon.
The breakfasts were too expensive.- the rooftop restuarant and the shop were closed. The Hotel is in Giza, which is good for the great pyramids but not so good for Cairo. So it takes 30-40 minutes drive to get into Cairo.
It was near Giza pyramids
The room was very clean. Overall, the hotel was beautiful.
The suite looked nothing like the photos. The view from the room was looking over a rooftop of another building.
Its very good hotel and perfect value for money
reception crew is perfect and friendly, doing all their efforts to help. rooms are more than perfect, clean and modern.
AC wasn't working (fan only as it's winter in egypt, so it was hot little bit in the morning.
Nice, clean modern hotel.
The staff at the reception when I checked in and checked out were very unfriendly. Didn't smile or were being helpful. The traffic along the road in front of hotel was bad.
Every thing there are expensive
The staff were very helpful and friendly. My room was great!
The traffic on the road to Cairo - if you stay at Giza be aware you'll have long travel times if you want to get into Cairo or go to the airport.
Extremely friendly staff who were extremely helpful. There was a problem with the wifi initially which the staff sorted as promptly as they could. I would definitely stay here again.
Food in the italian restaurant was quite bland and the rooftop restaurant was not open during my stay although in fairness they did offer to open it for me.
Freindly staff Value of Money Clean 5 stars Services Security
The lady in charge for the barber and the health club is very aggressive, She is not up to the level of working in 5 or 4 stars hotel, maybe in a bar will be ok.
The worst front desk agent I have ever seen in my life, her name is Nashwa, she did not care about quests, plus the hidden charges they never tell you about....it was the worst experience ever..do not recommend to any one
