From the greeting at the airport to the moment I left the staff was there to take care of me, answer questions and make my stay a wonderful experience. Anything I wanted to do was arranged for me at reasonable prices and they always wanted to make sure I was happy. The diving trips were fun and lead by experienced Divers and the private reef at Daniela was also wonderful to swim through and explore. The housekeeping staff and manager were very attentive to my needs and made my room a beautiful place to come to each day and a comfortable place to sleep in each night. The food was delicious with a large variety and always well prepared. A tea kettle in the room would be nice, but not necessary since the bedouin tea served each night was a wonderful experience.

Overall, our stay was excellent! We chose this hotel to relax away from the madness of central Dahab and to do some snorkeling. The setting (turquoise water, Arab buildings, desert mountains), design and staff (friendly and helpful) were fantastic. I liked that there was limited vegetation on the property - it is the desert after all (resorts with grass should be banned in this climate). We came by car and had our own snorkel gear - one can walk/shuttle/taxi into town and rent gear at the hotel's dive center. Their private reef and beach area was very nice. Included breakfast buffet was excellent. Worldly multilingual owner was the first Egyptian I observed to not throw his cigarette butt on the ground. When I strained muscles riding, front desk had some soothing medicine. We strongly recommend staying here. Lunch menu was pricey, but not surprising - it is an isolated resort after all. Cats - one of the reasons we didn't want to be in Dahab proper was the crazy amount of feral cats (we have allergies). Well, even out of town, they were quite common. I guess this is life in Egypt. If you have cat issues, bring a small spray water bottle and make sure you get a room on the second floor. Minor resort issues like static on phone when calling front desk, sticking balcony door and the shower leaking slightly onto bathroom floor (staff did offer to repair right away) did not really impact our wonderful experience. This is a 3 star, not 5 star place that must contend with extreme heat most of the year and an extended bad global economy. Wind - Dahab area has some wind much of the year. This does not complicate snorkeling for strong/confident swimmers. A weak swimmer, like my wife, found the wave action to be too strong. But she still loved the beach setting. We did some waveless snorkeling in Ras Mohammed National Park. Soap bars could be better - bring your own.

they gave us a fair discount as a lot of things did not work when we where there, and said they were honestly sorry. i appreciated that. it did not make up for the disappointment, though. this hotel may well have seen better days. we actually checked out earlier as we were not happy with a lot of things. it is overpriced when compared to other hotels in dahab. our telephone was not working and was not repaired. if you are happy to fall asleep to a loud AC system from other rooms that make your room almost vibrate - go ahead and book! may be not in every room; but we were really disturbed by that. there is a nice room with two pool tables, table tennis, etc.. when we were playing there the first night, all of a sudden a massive dartboard fell off the wall. although we told the reception about it, none bothered to take it off the ground, let alone fix it. the food is not good. the tours are far more expensive than if booked in town. bottomline: i recommend to look elsewhere.

Het hotel heeft een hele mooie locatie. .
