The staff was unbelievably helpfull, and whatever was asked (such as extra towels, hairdryer and even a kettle!) was provided straight away. And no hassle from any members of staff! The location is also good. But the best is of course the price, you would not find cheaper in whole Luxor. Well, I have to admit that the hotel is quite dirty. Like nearly everywhere. The room, the stoilet. The shower - everything was quite filthy. The breakfast room is dirty too, and the breakfast was quite disgusting. Would still say - cheap it is, and you get what you pay for.

The hotel does not try to be anything it's not. It says 3* and that's an honest description. I have stayed in '5*' hotels very near by which have not been as good. The rooms are nice and clean, and some have flat screen tvs and international plugs. There is consistently good WiFi throughout the hotel. From the terrace you can see the Nile and the sunsets are really good. The food is also excellent and reasonable in price. However, the best thing is the staff. They will literally do anything to improve your stay. For the first time ever, they were never even looking for a tip - rare occurrence in Egypt! Really good atmosphere. Excellent value for money.

I liked the price and how convienent it was from here. Good staff. Very Friendly. Also....very good price. The walls are very very thin. This is rough at night as it's next to the main street. And the locals are not quiet. Hard to get a solid stretch of sleep.

Cheap. Really cheap. Even cheaper as hostels. For a 3 star hotel, the standards here used are also 3 stars. 1. the blanket of the bed is too dirty or too old 2. the room is not good sound isolated, so every morning at 5, you will be awake. 3. it seems that they do not have an electrical booking system. We added one night by telephone. It was easily done. But during the whole stay, they did not notice the change. We have to remind them again and again.

The room was large (we stayed in a mini suit. Also this is located on Khalid Ibne Waleed street and many restaurents are in its vicinity. Staffs are friendly. The swimming pool was cold, Breakfast was not upto the mark, but we did not expect more given the price tag :) . They need to do some maintenance in the bathroom (Broken knobs; water is always running down from the sistern) etc. The most troublesome part is the street right in front of the hotel. The horse carriage drivers are flocking at the gate and harassing tourists like anything. The hotel authority can take some measure on it in order to make the tourists feel safe.

They have a pool. The hotel has lots of potential if they kept it clean and the service from all staff was good.

The location. It's near Luxor Temple. There's no kettle in the hotel but to be honest none of the hotels I stayed in Egypt offer kettles in rooms.

The best thing about the Gaddis Hotel is the location. It is a cheap taxi ride anywhere in Luxor. The service was terrible, the room smelled moldy, the matress was harder than sheetrock, the shower door did not close fully and worst of all I got bed bugs. The staff were rude from beginning to end, but you get what you pay for.
