Havana Hotel Cairo  

To the Management: I wanted to express my appreciation for the superior service I received during my stay at the Hotel. In particular the staff at the reception, dinning hall and the room cleaning team were very helpful and deserve a great deal of praise for their excellent customer service. Kudos to all the staff for making my stay a great one - I will definitely be staying with the HAVANA Hotel again.

I would not recommend old age or disable person as there is no lift in the hotel.

Cleaning and locations was ok. They have to improve breakfast quality. They should clear the rules of hotel. I did not read before booking this hotel that 'Visitors are not allowed in your rooms'

Did not allow visitors to go in the rooms. They took much money as exchange rate as it was those days. I have paid About extra 80 egyptian pounds. They took 75 Egyptian pound from me to provide Taxi from Hotel to Airport. Their arrange another Taxi as they said that hotel taxi has some problems. They paid 50 Egyptian puond to other taxi( Road taxi). They have to refund me 25 Egyptian pound but did not refund.

Good value for money, lots of included extras.

do not book their poor tours. Over priced and forced shopping stops and the guide finishes by 2 pm even though you paid for the entire day. Solicitated tipping.

The hotel prevents the entry of visitors to my room......

Very clean, cozy and comfortable. I liked the free airport shuffle, the driver was waiting for me and he was on time. The location is just excellent, at the heart of Al-Muhandessen which is one of the safest neighborhoods in Cairo. Great value for money I'd certainly return again the future.

I like this hotel there is free shuttle from the airport the stuff on every where in the hotel frindly and the half board was very good for the price I paid

location the lady on the reception was helpful and polite

- room without windows - if you are Egyptian don't expect good services - refrigedator very very very dirty and bad smale - they try to collect more money with or without reason they start from 1st day when they say the rate shall be 55$ not 45$ - they offer me transportation to the airport with fees and when it is ready i found it shared car but not shared fees it was 150LE i refused and got taxi for 50LE onel - they allow smoking anywhere even in the resturant without separate part NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL

Was near to the pyramids and near to many stores. People there make you feel confortable.

Great location. Low prices for room service and restaurant.

Managers try to cheat on Credit card payments (3%), then the "banking machine" becomes somehow broken and they try to cheat on currency rate. Take care.

We had a power cut for about an hour - however this probably wasn't the Hotels fault.

Excellent wifi connection and the hotel free car was at the airport ready to pick me.

The location was close to the El Sharouk Hospital where my sister was recovering from a back operation following a serious road accident. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff to help me with during my stay.

There was no lift at the hotel.

Staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. I would certainly return again in the future.

No parking services. You could only use street parking in the vicinity which is not easy at all and may require that you leave your car keys with an unofficial local street attendant.

ok here we are the staff are very good, and friendly, but the facilities of the hotel was not that perfect as i was expecting for the price i paid by the way in certain way they managed to charge me little more for the room renting price through their exchange rate,, it was not too much to be honest, beside the price list in the room does not match what i pay for what i buy like the drinks and the laundry,, the big point was the location and that was my mistake ,, cos no view at all my room window was over their back yard and i do not want to describe it,,,,!!

The staff was fabulous!

The staff are friendly and the hotel is new looking and clean, great showers. Great trendy area that is not far from anything.

Paid extra for a double room with one large bed but got a twin room instead. As the hotel was fully booked staff were unable to change my room and did not offer the single room rate. Room was fine and nothing wrong with it but I had been sleeping in a single bed for 6 weeks and wanted (and paid for) a larger bed for my last few days in Egypt.

Great value for money! Very friendly and helpful staff, decent breakfast and the free wifi was essential. I arrived on the night train from Luxor and the staff were so nice as to let me in the room at 7 am already, very much appreciated!

Staff super amable y dedicado, siempre te ayudarán a contratar una excursión, conseguir un taxi, lo que sea. Cualquier duda o consulta, te ayudarán. Y todo lo que solicites (excursiones, taxi, laundry, etc) se puede pagar con tarjeta de crédito. Hablan inglés, así que no vas a tener problemas para hacerte comprender. Me gustó mucho el trato de todos los recepcionistas, siempre hay alguien, las 24 hs, para ayudarte. Tenían mini.-bar, cuyos productos costaban 6 libras egipcias cada uno. Obviamente es el doble de lo que pagarías por cada producto en el supermercado, pero la comodidad del mini-bar se paga. Tambén hay un restaurante en la planta baja del hote, que es donde te sirven el desayuno (muy abundante y rico, con un chef que en el momento te podía hacer un omelette u otras comidas egipcias). Tienen room service pero la cocina está cerrada de noche. No tengo ninguna queja sobre este hotel, me gustó mucho el edificio y además el barrio donde está, lejos del caos típico del centro de El Cairo. Tiene aire acondicionado, excelente señal de wi-fi en la habitación y un baño confortable. Un día nos fuimos de excursión a las 7 am y nos dieron una bandeja preparada especialmente para nosotros con el desayuno. Esa amabilidad no tiene precio. Tenía el almuerzo incluido en el precio pero nunca lo aprovechamos porque estabamos de excursión a esas horas. Recomiendo totalmente este hotel!

La habitación estaba bien, nos dieron una habitación con camas individuales cuando pedí una doble, pero no quise reclamar porque estaba cansada y quería darme una ducha, así que no tenía ganas de discutir. No fue tan terrible, no me pareció gran cosa para quejarme. Como dije, venía de varios días de viaje y solo quería un lugar para dormir. La cama no era super cómoda pero cumplía su función.

جدران الغرف ليست عازلة للصوت وتسمع صوت ساكني الغرفه المجاورة وهم يردون على الهاتف وتسمع اصوات دورات المياه في الغرف المجاورة

En cuanto a la hospitalidad han sido mas que amables, la ubicacion es buena por que esta situado en un barrio de clase media

Lo malo del Cairo es el caos en el transito y los vendedores callejeros, aunque todo pertenece al paisaje y un detalle a tener en cuenta para los que no esten costumbrados.
