Mercure Hurghada Hotel  

Staff and management very attentive and friendly in general. Mr El Tahir from the management team in particular spent a lot of time ensuring that standards were high and guests were comfortable and well looked after. Design of the hotel is very spacious and open plan, gardens are very well tended and rooms immaculate. Food was good for all inclusive, pastry department was especially good.

Very little to fault this hotel on. If there were any niggles or issues they were immediately sorted out by the very attentive management. If anything this hotel is a little far away from the town or any shops/nightlife as it sits on its own. Taxis are plentiful and cheap though.

The staff were excellent from reception right through to the cleaners,they were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. Plenty to do if you wanted or you could just relax, lots of things for the younger kids too. Facilities were good including shops at hotel were you could buy gifts and any essentials you need. Food in restaurant was varied and good.

Nothing really but it would have been nice to have tea/coffee facilities and access to WiFi in the room (that was available in reception). The people selling trips were a little pushy.

I stayed in Mercure Hotel Hurghada 2 nights for a long weekend. Good things: The hotel looks nice it overlooks the sea. The rooms are confortable.

Bad things: - the food of the restaurant is very very poor and not tasty at all. For a french hotel it is really a shame ! I am living in Egypt and I went in many hotels, Mercure is one of the worst for the restauration - Service, very bad quality. Staff are unpleasant if you want to get a good service you must systematically tip Conclusion you can find in Hurghada much better price quality I will never go back

My notes during resrervation not taken in consideration Rooms were away from creation area and it was difficult for my kids to attend night activities animation team was not proactive enough to engage with us and explain hotel programs and activities

Real delicious food, nice beach, big nice rooms, the night shows were amazing and the overall hotel cleanliness was outstanding.

Relatively small pool, the beach bar was poor, kids entertainment was inadequate but the real worst thing was when I asked about a late check out or extending my stay by getting a day use , I got an answer from the reception that I have to pay 60 L.E. per room per hour !

I always adore the vast range of green areas, the buffet and round the day entertainment; the upgraded decor and furniture done to the rooms are fabulous. I only wish if they have a warm swimming pool during the winter times that would be great. Best of luck guys

This time - as I previously stayed at the hotel before - the food and cuisine wasn't up to my expectations the salad bar, the desserts bar were exactly the same during lunch and dinner. The taste of the main dishes weren't appealing; they used to have more tastier and more variety before

The window and terrace door were passing some cold from outside, not that much but I think they should be sealed more, everything else was perfect

- Hotelanlage schön, mit Privatstand - Flughafentransfer inkl. (E-Mail schreiben!) und sehr kurz - Windsurfen (nicht das neuste Material, aber ok) - Tauchschule teuer, Tauchboot gut, Equipment gut - Personal sehr bemüht und freundlich Essen grösstenteils gut, wiederholt sich wöchentlich Für eine Woche sehr zu empfehlen, da Strand, Pool, Essen und Erholung super waren.

- Keine Anbindung an die Stadt (wollte ich aber auch nicht) - Strandläufer am Strand teilweise aufdringlich vom Sportcenter (Bananaboot, Paragliding)

La gentillesse de l'accueil ainsi que le personnel durant notre séjour sans oublier les animatrices qui parlaient français car l'hôtel est envahi par les Russes à 65/70/°

Le club de plongée bouteille et le centre de planches à voile.

La nourriture, Les boissons à base d'eau du Nil, Les installations sportives (mini golf, tir à l'arc en ruine, squash en très mauvais état, ....) Internet limité 30 minutes/jour dans le hall de l'Hôtel. Les jus de fruits pas frais au goût bonbon. Le billard payant 6$ la 1/2 heure. Les restaurants sont payant sauf la cantine. Les prix du séjour pour les Européens est beaucoup plus élevé que pour les Russes (80% de la clientèle) qui payent 200$ par semaine.

Le personnel au global (du directeur Aladdin, aux animateurs: Chloé, ziggy, Dali, les cuisiniers...) rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Tous sont au petit soin pour vous et beaucoup parle français donc vous ne serez pas perdus. Les animations le soir sont très correctes en plus des animations sportives de la journée. L hôtel est en bord de plage avec un centre de plongée seafari (des français) qui sont géniaux. à faire. La cuisine est vraiment bonne et diversifiée car chaque jour a un thème donné. Le soir, les cuisiniers vous font même les plats avec une préparation a l assiette en plus du buffet. Le Spa et sauna en fin de journée après le sport est sympa aussi Les chambres ne sont pas immenses mais suffisantes et propres et notre literie était bonne. Vous pouvez y aller sereins.

Le wifi à la réception de mauvaise qualité mais existant. Pas de baignoire pour nous. Un peu ennuyant à force d'avoir des gens sur la plage qui viennent vous vendre leurs excursions alors que vous voulez vous reposer tranquille Beaucoup de russes mais ils sont sympas et alimentent quelques discussions ....

- jus de fruits frais payants - pool bar : qualité nourriture moins bonne qu'au restaurant principal

Praticamente tutto! La struttura, il personale, il mare, la spiaggia, l'all-inclusive! Un pochino meno il cibo ma per essere all'estero c'era un'ampia scelta. Noi italiani dovremmo partire già con l'idea che non si va all'estero per mangiare bene! :)

I negozi all'interno della struttura! Non comprate assolutamente! I prezzi sono altissimi e tendono a fregare più del commerciante medio che in realtà vuole solo contrattare. Una ricarica telefonica la vendono a 10 pound in più rispetto al suo reale prezzo fissato dalle compagnie telefoniche, se poi pagate in euro anche il doppio se non siete scaltri nel cambio!

Le personnel surtout le serveur Badr au restaurant toujours agréable, très souriant et aux petits soins. Belle plage privée. Hôtel très agréable avec de bonnes animations.

buffet pas assez varié. pas assez de fraicheur. Plats chaud plutôt tièdes voir froid.
