The hotel was convenient to the Giza Pyramids. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful as were the staff of the shops and the excursion services. The breakfast buffet was rather pathetic with very limited fruit. No watermelon for example even when it was in season and available all over. We discovered one small fruit plate with honey dew melon one moring out of 4 when we were early enough. The food on the roof top terrace restaurant was average or less as was the service. |

The hotel itself is okay for short stays only. The pool is not heated and is indoors - only for the brave as itys very cold water. Breakfast is the same meal each day which although boring is okay. I found the staff to be very helpful, I couldnt really fault them. My favouritre was the Head Waiter, Mr Daniel, a very nice and welcome gent. The hotel does actually need a coat of paint but thats all. The hotel is okay but I must explain that cairo is very poor and run down. The area this hotel is in is no worse than any other, but if travelling from a civilised country you will be shocked. |

I liked the professionalism and friendliness of the reception staff and the hotel management. I wish the room carpet could have been vaccumed more frequently. |
