it has been anice experience staying at the isis hotel in cairo. located on the very airy 15th floor with agreat view of the busy cairo streets the hotel has comfortable rooms...however the most distinguishing feature is the homely atmosphere created by the staff and owners of the hotel...timely help was offered to me about travelling in and around cairo and places like luxor and aswan....after coming back from our tiring trips particularly from the notorious egyptian railway it was nice to have the staff welcome us smilingly with a warm cup of egyptian tea...so in all an ideal place for those with a middle level budget looking for a friendly place to stay..thank u mr. hamada, mohammed and mithab! inshallah, will see u soon in egypt again! |

Very friendly staff, they helped us with finding a flat in Nasr City, they are really willing, they don't play any theatres like everybody in Cairo. Rooms are clean and in general nice, bathroom is clean, there is nothing to complain. Great room service, nice price. We can only recommend Isis to everybody who's new in Cairo! |

The Isis Hotel is the best choice for Money/Value. I really loved it. It's right in the centre of Cairo near Museum and all places you need to see. I took a trip with Isis hotel to Alexandria which was very good choice with driver whose name is Jah Jad. he is very funny and very nice entertainment. Also Medhad Assistant Manager was very nice. And thank you for the owner of the hotel for everything. Recommend this place very much. See you soon again. |

The standard of service and cleanliness rivaled that of a 5*hotel. The staff were there for your convenience, what ever you required, any time day or night was done promptly for you. Breakfast, cooked to order at whatever time you arose.housekeeping cleaned your room when you went out, never disturbed you. Panoramic views over the city. Free internet cafe.mohammed ali on reception could arrange any requirement. Sightseeing trips, food take away, taxis, coach tickets what ever you needed. This hotel is a flagship to egyptian hospitality, and management from some of the large hotel chains should stay, to see how a proper hotel should be like. |

Very friendly and helpful staff. They provided a lot of useful information about getting around. We did the Giza tour and night cruise organised by the hotel. The Giza tour was well worth doing (very hard to do by yourself) - the guide was brilliant - highly recommended. The night dinner cruise was ok but not necessary. The hotel location was excellent with the bus stop across the road. We flew into Cairo airport at 3am and the hotel was able to pick us up. This saved a lot of stress when first arriving in Cairo (things are done a little differently to other places we have been to!). The building and decor is dated but functional. This is not really an issue for the price. |

It was cheap and in the heart of Cairo. Close to everything. Its ok for those on a tight budget. Great views of the city. Sometimes the lift was out of order. The water pressure to our room was poor. |

very nice and helpful staff. Nice that you have free internet acces 24/7. Central location. Clean basic room with good fridge and good tv with pleny channels.Very nice that they pick you up from the airport! the water presure in the shower is a bit low. It's enough for just taking a shower but too less to wash your hair for example. But this is the only downsite. The room is clean and people are nice and helpful. Oh yea the breakfast is also not very special. But if you are in to egyptian breakfast you'll really like it ;) |

Staff was friendly and accomadating. They allowed early check in/late check out which was great because of our schedule. They hooked us up with a great tour guide, Abdul, who I would highly reccomend. Also arranged or airport pickup and driver was on time..Great service for a budget hotel! The location is in an old industrial building, not a good location for walking etc. At check in the light in the elevator did not work and we had to go up 14 floors in an elevator with no lights!! |

Hotel staffs are very helpful. Nice view in Cairo from 15th floor. Quite clean and no smoking smell inside the room. Location is pretty good. Very near Egyptian museum. A litlle noisy at night. We booked for double room for 2 people but got big room for 6 persons. Anyway, it's not too bad room. |

Great location, swimmingpool > and cheap. Bad administration so deals are to be discussed over and over. Rather pushy staff for selling tours. |

Very kind people. The hotel gives you the impression of Cairo of 1960s. The elevator was old but o.k. and don't let the old and dirty entrance to discourage you. On the 15th floor the Hotel is clean. The breakfast is not good. It is an irony to be in Cairo drinking in your breakfast such a bad coffee! |

We stayed here from 12 to 16 April. Excellent location 400m from Egyptian museum, friendly staff, capable, efficient and honest, happy to help arrange and book whatever activities, sightseeing, airfares, etc you want. Hotel is good value for money. The hotel is on 15th floor which would not be a problem normally but the elevators (there are two of them) sometimes did not work properly and were poorly maintained. |

Good value for money. Provided alot of extra services which you normally have to pay for at other hotel. Little things like free pick up from airport if you stay more than 3 days (which would cost around 50 Epds otherwise) complimentary drinks on arrival and after excursionss, free internet, and organsising cheap transport for us made the stay more enjoyable thatn expected. Shared bathrooms did not have soap or toilet rolls in them, although if you ask they would provide. Elevator to the 15th floor was not working, but hey, we got some exercise from it! |

It is very well located, at the Cairo downtown. It is a basic hotel, but the rooms and service are quite good for 30 US$ per night. It is not a five stars hotel, but it has large rooms (there are rooms with shared and insuite bathrooms) and is located in the 15th floor, which is pretty good considering the noisy Cairo streets. The rooms need a refurbishing, but for 30 US$ per night is OK. |

They were very accommodating at the hotel -- let us use their showers after we checked out and offered to hold some of our luggage while we traveled around the country. Helped arrange a driver for the day. Very nice people all around. The hotel is not the cleanest and neither is the building. The building has awful elevators; did not feel comfortable using the elevators at all. Located in a relatively dirty part of downtown. Unless you're a budget travel, I would recommend forking over the extra cash for some cleanliness. Also, if you do go, do not go on the Nile Cruise/buffet they recommend. Tacky, inedible food, etc. |

Good location in central city with walking distance to Museum. Staff helpful, room with good view, it would be hard to find if without their pickup (on 15th floor) Elevator is scaring |

They were so very helpful! Anything we needed to find, they made sure that we were able to get it. When we arrived, they even helped us solve a problem with our bank. They are also conveniently located near the Antiquities Museum. The elevator was a little scary, but no one seemed to care. |

this is a good value budget hotel. everything in the rooms is quite old but clean and functioning. the hotel offers a free pick up from the airport/station and will drop you off there when you stay is over for a fee. they have free internet. the owner spoke very good english and was brilliant. the hotel arranged our trip to the pyramids (which was good), but the driver's poor english caused a problem. don't expect too much from breakfast and the cleanliness in the rooms does not seem to extend to the kitchen. the great location meant the rooms were very very noisy. the hotel is at the top of what looks like a tower with a few offices in it. |
