Isis Hostel  

The staf is very good and the location exelent

We were happy with the Isis, though it is fairly ramshackle-- on the 16th floor of a run-down high-rise. The room was adequate (though the lighting was dim and the water-pressure was low). More important to us: it was very close to the Egyptian Museum, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. We had a fine day being driven around Sakkara and Giza by rahouf, who we recommend highly; he went far beyond the call of duty, helping us very early and very late on some days.

I found the Isis Hotel very charming. Everyone was extremely hospitable and more than accomodating. I found my stay at the Isis very exciting, as it is in the heart of cairo and a stones throw away from Tahrir Square. The Isis is a short walk away from Cairo Tower, Tahrir Square, and the Nile River as well as short cab ride away to many of Cairo's exciting sites. My tour guides Hasam, Nasser, and Raaof, were extremely helpful. They showed me all of cairo's world renowned sites provided me with valuable infomation during my stay in Cairo. Mithad Ashure, Mohammed Ali, Ahmed Allam were great and were helpful assisting me with my booking and flexiable with my rate and dates.

I found the Hotel a little difficult to find the first night, I arrived at 3am. Nonetheless, the Hotel staff was more than helpful guide my taxi driver to the hotel.

Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Mitarbeiter in allen Bereichen sind super. Die Lage zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten ist akzeptabel.

Auch wenn wir für Ägypten einen anderen Standard für Hygiene und Zimmersausstattung voraussetzen, ist dieses Hotel am Rande des `Nichthinnehmbaren´. Wenn dieses Hotel ein bischen Geld in die Renovierung stecken würde, wäre diese Beurteilung, auf Grund der personellen Kriterien, viel besser ausgefallen.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, were concerned for us.nice breakfast doing by ahmed allam and he had good suggestions for restaurants,give us honest help. Hotel location is great and have nice view from 16th floor,a friend of mine told me about Isis Hotel and I booked three nights during my trip to capital of Egypt, the atmosphere is nice. Isis hotel is located in the 16th floor.they advise tours to every where in cairo , internet for free,breakfast included ,we recommend this hotel for you.

Isis hotel has a magnificent view of the river Nile and night light,if you look to your left.the views opposite are broken buildings.

The lift wasn't working up to the top floor, the corridors coming down were terrible with the rubbish fallen everywhere.the toilet didn't always flush.the staff persisted with having to book their excursions during the stay which was a little annoying, as every where you went in Cairo you was hassled with sales and conning people whilst they were supposed to be practicing a religion and especially during Ramadan.you get used to the noise of traffic all night and when prayers were called.The floors of the hotel were very dusty, and with a family with children being on the 15th floor was quite scary with children wanting to look over.

Fantastic hotel, 5 minute walk from Egyptian museum and Tahrir Square. Highlights of this hotel include superb views over the river Nile and city from its 15th floor location, alongside extremely clean and comfortable rooms. The service in the hotel is truly excellent, staff are extremely attentive to your personal travel desires and will ensure that you see and do everything that you wish to, alongside offering useful travel reccomendations using local insight. Driver Mohammed conducts great and interesting, personalised tours of all the highlights within the city and nearby areas. Reception staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs- Mohammed Ali especially makes you feel very welcome and taken careof throughout your trip. Extremely happy with this hotel choice!

I spend in isis hotel 3 days one day from booking .com and 2 days from the hotel and I fill like home . the stuff is very frinedly and the room it is clean .the viwe over nile and old town is very amezing .

I liked the hotel very much , the location is perfect near to all the places you might need it , near to the banks near to all the resturants & also exactly near the metro station.the cleanliness is great here they pay a good attention to all things would make your stay as much comfortable as they can.the staff also are just great staff they have a good knowledge of how to treat a guest.specially allam and his breakfast.I Highly recommend this hotel for travelers ,they organise tours every where in egypt with professional drivers.if we come back we will stay at isis hotel.
