Paradise Inn Le Metropole Hotel    

The old world decor was lovely. The staff was very professional and helpful. Breakfast buffet was very well done and we really appreciated the complimentary tea cart in the lobby and fruit & cookies delivered to the room after a long day of sightseeing.

The staff was amazingly helpful, especially Miss Hagar Public relations. I was Really comfortable there and the location was perfect

We loved the friendliness of the staff, the classic style of the hotel itself, the beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea from our hotel room, the comfort of the beds and the location which is close to all the major attractions. The staff allowed us to leave our things in the room even after the normal check-out time so we could enjoy our day without carrying our luggage.

If I really had to find something wrong it was the water stains on the carpet in the hallways. The rooms themselves were very clean.

All was perfect. Staff was wonderful. We came for honeymoon and they made for us a lot of great surprises. A place to recommand for everyone. Thanks a lot to the staff

Dear sir, It's a wonderful hotel combined between royal luxury, authenticity and comfort. Moreover the standard level of service in the hotel meets our satisfaction, Also,an extremely qualified staff , regarding the buffet , was very good taste and different .

Clean Hotel, Furniture is new, location is very good, Staff are friendly, free parking, value for money, i didn't face any troubles.

The balcony is very small it is a window rather than balcony. Water pressure was very low.

I liked first of all the style of the Building and the whole atmosphere inside the hotel (Baroque style). I enjoyed the kindness and the professionalism of all the staff from reception till the last servicing person.

Should be paid attention to upgrade the external windows by having double glazing windows for better noise insulation for reducing the outside noise (caused by the horns of the drivers) which was annoying for getting a good sleep. Alexandria (as Cairo) is a very noisy city caused by the drivers which they press horns all the time while driving.

The surroundings was dirty, traffic too loud at nights, the hotel did not accept American Express even it was stated on Booking.com website and confirmation

Far removed from 'normal' hotels. A wonderful old building that resonates with timeless charm. I almost expected Agatha Christie to be writing her latest crime novel in a corner. Lack of modern ameneties did not concern us.

Staff are so professional and hospital.. Traditional place and architecture mixed with arabic hospitality and beauty of Alex.

The Hotel was beautifully renovated, preserving the fine Original architecture of the Building that dates from early 20th Century. Staff very helpful and friendly, little details like fresh Juice on Arrival, Complementary Fruit basket and Sweets platter. i was even upgraded without asking. Absolutely recommended not only for quality of hotel, but also for location and view.

some of the room might need a brush of fresh paint here and there ..

Le Metropole is a beautiful hotel in Alexandria, just off the corniche. The hotel provides a wonderful breakfast, extremely comfortable rooms, free turn-down service, and little extras like welcome drinks and snacks on arrival. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They will go out of their way to make sure you have any information and assistance you need. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea.

My only negative comment is that the driver they arranged to take us from Alexandria back to Cairo showed up 40 minutes late, and consequently, we were quite late to our destination (Easter mass...). Had he been on time, we would also have been on time.

The Metropole is ideally placed for the city's attractions, shopping districts, the corniche and excellent transportation. The old world charm is matched by charming service - the staff seem genuinely interested in their guests. Comfortable, central, informal.

The hotel seemed to go quiet after breakfast. Guests appear not to use the restaurant or bar service, although all is available. But none of this deterred from an excellent three day stay. All facilities in the city are outside the front door!

The breakfast alone made my stay fabulous. Really a charming staff, who are all so attentive. Of course this is an old hotel, but I was thoroughly comfortable & returned after a few days away. Appreciate the little touches: fresh fruit in the room & cookies delivered at bedtime.

Location, view of the port and citadel and hotel theme were absolutely perfect. The pianist in the lobby, with a cup of coffee and street view are inforgettable. Staff were very friendly, helpful and proactive.

Located next to the water front in the old downtown, walking distance to few tourist attractions and local commercial area. Hotek staffs and services are excellent. It's a good 3-star hotel, a bit overpriced in Egypt standard.

A 100 years old hotel with classical decor...needs more maintenance. Hotel located in the busy spot with lots of traffic. Notorious car honking non-stop around the clock, difficult to sleep at night. Breakfast is adequate but rooms for improvement.

Lovely "heritage' city hotel. Beautiful seaview and very friendly staff. Good restaurant!
