A heated pool floating on the Nile is one of the most unique features of this 4-star hotel. Overlooking the Theben Hills, Iberotel Luxor also offers a restaurant boat and rooms with private balconies....
Score from 184 reviews Very good
On the banks of the Nile, this resort offers air conditioned rooms with views of the river, tropical grounds, or outdoor pools. It is located in the center of Luxor and half a mile from Luxor Temple.

Very good value
It's the calm, quite and picturesque location by the Nile river in Luxor. And on a clear day you will find the panoramic view of Hatshepsut across the river. These plus the ever-present hotel personnel to assist you to make your stay as comfy as possible.
No wi-fi in your room! To get internet connection (wi-fi), you have to be in the hotel lobby or the reception desk area so your iPhones and iPads can go live!
Reasonable price for location and breakfast was good.
I had to pay in cash, there is no way to pay using your credit card which is so annoying , never seen this in Any hotel I've stayed in in the world!
Very good and big room, comfortable beds. The option of the room with three single beds was very pleasant. Friendly, English speaking stuff. Good breakfast. Very nice place to stay.
Staff wasn't friendly AT ALL (could be because the hotel is owned and run by Egyptian police force). Breakfast was horrible. I'm not fussy with food, but the food was so bad that I had to skip breakfast. One night was more than enough there.
Nile view Swimming pool Resturant Saloon Cafeteria Room
Staff communication and courtesy, breakfast, comfort bed, room cleaned every day, highly efficient run hotel, peace full, yet close to everything.will return.
There is nothing to dislike, anyone who gives negative report on this hotel, must be negative themselves.
Bathrooms could do with a revamp. Power cuts were a pain.
25minutes walk from the station. There are restaurants and some shops near hotel, but they are not for local people, thus expensive. However, on the way to hotel from the station, there are a lot of local restaurants and shops, so you can enjoy nice & low cost meals. The hotel itself is quite old, but well maintained. Though the plug in the bathtub was broken, the staff repaired it very quickly even in the night. I did not use the pool, but it looks nice. Breakfast is buffet style and the quality is ok level. If you like to use bath tub after cheap hotel/hostels, this hotel is nice to stay.
When i was making a check out, he wanted to charge me with a higher rate of USD dollar but i refused and i insisted to pay with the international bank exchange rate.
Location. Pool . View. Clean. For 3* hotel very nice
AC heater wasn't work. The breakfast lil poor.. Staff on the pool area not care about the guests..everything u must ask and wait.. and looking to the guest wt shouldn't be
the view was very nice, also the pool was good and heated the price is cheap comparing with the other hotels with the same view
the breakfast was bad
pool nile view
there is absolutely nothing I would save from this staying but the pool. i can't believe that in 2015 there are still facilities that do not accept credit card payments, or any sort of modern age payment, the ATM machine was just for decoration; I believe they do not even own computeres since everything was written by hand and I was the one supposed to tell them about my booking details. there was no wi fi, the only option was using vintage computers at a rate of 20 LE a hour. above all staff was utterly rude starting from the male receptionists to the porter that stopped the bus in order to have a tip; after having stayed two nights we took also a daily use room before our bus because one of us was not feeling good, instead of being offered help the one at the reception kept calling the room not letting her sleep tp check who was upstaird, while everyone was actually sitting in the pool and in front of him. we eventually had to speak to the useless manager. please avoid, much better options are availble for the same sum
clean ,location is great ,stuff are very nice and helpful ,delicious breakfast varies from hot dogs beans cheese jam butter and many things i recommend the nile view room
no parties or night activities
The Right side of the hotel is much better than Left Side. Resptation working hard to put you in left side : ( and they have diplomatically answers to avoid to put you in the Right side Pool is heated by the River We upgrade to suite (perfect View & big room with extra 10$) Good breakfast & staff doing their best to make you happy.
The Left side rooms, pool worker, no water bottles in the suite!!! No hot water for hot drinks.
Location is good as well as morning shift lady receptionists.
The afternoon receptionist was awful, one of our rooms was facing the reception and he was always looking at the door which made one of us totally uncomfortable, he was rude and unprofessional. The power was suddenly not working in the room and they requested us to change it while trying to charge us for two nights. When we decided to check out, he was more rude. We checked out finally after insisting we do not want to stay at the hotel. The hotel atmosphere is weird with a strange feeling of being spied upon.
The view, and the room was clean. The men on reception were polite and helpful.
The pool was not heated, the staff were so noisy at night and early in the morning which made sleeping impossible. Breakfast inedible. Bar useless, TV on for the staff at all times. The lady on reception was rude and unhelpful.
Everything was so good and perfect .. serves and location and food .. i am really loved this hotel a
The location is excellent and serene. Its a very good value for money for budget travel.
There was a pungent smell in the bathrooms for some time..
the breakfast is a joke. you need to wait for the waiter to bring you hot water and a sachet of instant coffee(Nescafe)there amny waiters standing in ther postion and arguing loudlybetween themselve but they never pay attention to the only a few geusts as the hotel was almost empty
* very nice hotel with amazing food * good swimming pool but not deep * the best breakfast I had in Egypt * walking distance from city center * nice bathroom, big rooms
* night shift staff guy was terrible! despite email was sent to hotel in advance (almost two days), nobody was expecting us earlier (3am) and guy tried to charge us twice more (as like I had two separate bookings), luckily I found another hotel nearby for 21 USD where I spent the night... hotel manager should kick him out as by his stupidity, hotel lost a client. however, day time staff was very friendly and helpful!
All staff are excellent and with it being a small hotel everyone gets to know one another, staff are very polite but not over intrusive with you and if you ask for something it be it laundry bag etc. it is done you don't have to ask them twice. 5* its not, but it suits me just fine as it is and having stayed in 5* hotels in Luxor I know which I prefer as the staff in the Lotus are genuine with you unlike some of the other hotels that I've stayed in, in Luxor where staff are only interested in tips and if you are a regular what you can bring out for them on your next trip (for free of course they have there list prepared for you), well having been out to Luxor from 1995 and seen it all I was more than happy to move to Lotus Hotel where you are treated in correct manner and do not get any hassle.
Reception staff and concierge were friendly good view
Bed was from pharaonic times, old and tough. Flat pillows, breakfast had no taste and not much to eat.no internet
Excellent situated by the Nile. Great Nile view Large and cosy pool - terrace and restaurant area. Extremely good value for the money. Nice staff of which several had a good deal of humor. It,s not city center but only ten minuets walk.
It's not possible to pay with any credit or debt card -only cash is accepted. There is an ATM in the reception though. My room 509 was at the top floor onthe left side(facing the Nile), it was at the back of the row of rooms close tho the neighbouring building which had very noisy fans on their roof. So the balcony wasn't very nice to use. Try to get a room more in the front or on the right side.
