Moevenpick Resort Aswan  

I liked the quiet, friendly and relaxed atmosphere in pleasant contrast to the rather hassly conditions in the town itself. All staff were professional and competent - and friendly. I was particularly touched to get a complimentary apple juice when for one day I was too unwell to go down for breakfast. I was quite prepared to pay for room service but this evidence of consideration underlined the hotel's culture of good service to its guests.

The staff are very helpful and did everything they could to help me out. Rooms are large and well-appointed

Additional charges for everything. For example, there isn't even a tea/coffee station in the rooms, internet is wired, slow and an additional cost. The only thing that you don't have to pay an extra fee for is the ferry to get you to the hotel.

High standing, it is not for low budget (unfortunately). We booked this hotel as it was for a special occasion (birthday) and we were not disappointed. Excellent location, beautiful views, great buffet breakfast and the suite was splendid (shame we could not take it with us). If you wish to treat yourself, it is not a bad place to do so. Room service was surprisingly not expensive.

Wifi is not free; for the price, it should be.

friendly staff

Morning srarted with chanting of birds which is given such a tranquility. back garden is perfect place to re juvenile our soul. Surrounding with Nile also effect temperature and good breeze.

Food selection is limited. Beeing in island also limited option from outside eating.

It was beautiful and the staff were friendly. It is a great place to stay if you will be embarking on a Nile cruise.

Location, in the middle of the Nile, it was ideal

St in the middle of the Nile (literally), this hotel is an absolute gem. The hotel boat comes every 10mins to pick you up and take you to the Aswan centre. The staff are very friendly and do their upmost to make you happy. The room we had overlooked the gardens and from afar, the Nile. The room was great everything comfy an tidy, room service were prompt, the food available was nice and by no means ove priced and the general cleanliness was good.

My only comment for a bad point would be the bathroom (this is not anything serious as to be honest I stayed in 6 different places in Egypt on my holiday and this hotel standards were by far the best) but there was hair and dirt around the edges of the shower room which was a bit off putting, however this is a minor compared with all the other high standards of is hotel.

The fact they use their currency exchange values with your booking which made the hotel more expensive than what I was quoted if I had known that I would have converted my money myself.

This was my third stay at this hotel. I like it very much for its feeling of airy spaciousness, and although on an island does not feel isolated. It is very peaceful there and the staff very pleasant. My only criticism would be the food in the restaurant - quite pricey for Egypt and very poor quality.

Hôtel de très bon standing situé sur l'ile Eléphantine dans un cadre verdoyant magnifique, avec vue sur les rives Est (ville d'Assouan) et Ouest (rive sauvage et désertique) du Nil. Chambre spacieuse et confortable. Une piscine gigantesque et très bien entretenue. Une nourriture de bonne qualité. Un personnel aimable. Rapport qualité/prix correct mais pas exceptionnel.

Etablissement en perte de vitesse. Plusieurs équipements défectueux. Un personnel charmant et serviable mais pas toujours professionnel (pour ce niveau). Beaucoup de travaux à prévoir. Environnement en travaux ou en ruines. Un très mauvais rapport qualité prix par rapport au Old ou New Cataractes. Pas du tout un 5 étoiles. Un hôtel pour des cars qui passent une ou deux nuits. D'ailleurs il était vide puisqu'il n'y a plus de cars.

No ofrece internet a menos que se compré extra. Ademas se pagan en forma anticipada con la tarjeta de reserva cuando es costumbre que se paga al abandonar el hotel dejando en libertad al cliente. Culpan a Booking

Posizione ottimale. Soddisfa per la tranquillità, il panorama e la facilità di raggiungere il centro città e gli altri siti di interesse culturale. Sebbene sia posizionato su un'isola, possiede un eccellente servizio riservato di traghetto, funzionante giorno e notte senza alcuna interruzione.

La gentillesse du personnel et son efficacité. La situation près du bazar et des bords du Nil Le confort des chambres et propreté

L'architecture de l'hôtel avec sa tour infernale très laide... Le fait de payer l'accés Internet dans l'hôtel (en plus les cartes sont assez chères alors que nous savons que ce service ne coute rien à l'hôtel!)

很有五星酒店的样子，从前台餐厅酒吧到房间，游泳池非常棒，早餐丰富，14层的lounge bar风景无敌。

细节啊细节，不过这是埃及，也就不能要求这么高了。 酒店内部的旅游办公室有点小坑人，有时间精力还是不要在那预订游轮，自己出去找吧。

Stunning location, an oasis in the middle of the bustle but connected in minutes back off the island. Staff were fabulous too.

Die Lage auf der Insel ist sehr gut - und angenehm zu erreichen. Personal ist freundlich ohne aufdringlich zu sein.

Internet Zugang zu völlig überrisse nen Preisen. Mindestens WiFi sollte in den öffentlichen Plätze gratis sein.

Very nice hotel. Beautiful and relaxing view on Nile, Kitchener's island and Noble Tombs from our room. Ideal to be very close to Aswan, but at the same time in a very relaxed environment.
