A heated pool floating on the Nile is one of the most unique features of this 4-star hotel. Overlooking the Theben Hills, Iberotel Luxor also offers a restaurant boat and rooms with private balconies....

Hotel was perfect for location. Staff were brilliant helped whenever asked. Air con stopped working but they were there right away to fix it. Cleaner was lovely although didn't speak much English we communicated ok and she was always cheerful. We asked for a garden view but there was no garden and it was noisy when there was a wedding with fireworks and loud music somewhere at the back of hotel, this happened often, about 8 times during our stay of 2 weeks
The breakfast was the same everyday and got boring, 2 small slices of cheese, 2 cheese triangles, jam, plain yoghurt, rolls that were heated in micro so went hard after a couple of minutes, one egg omelette. The first few days there was only powdered milk for tea or coffee but when some Egyptian guests came we got proper milk until they left then backed to powdered yeuk. Cornflakes were put out once but difficult to eat with powered milk.
the hotel is very good for what you pay. it was very clean, comfortable and it is located in a calm area yet close to the city and facilities. if you are short in budget and need a nice place to stay, you should pick this one.
the breakfeast was very poor and not fresh, they should improve this. the staff is okay, but i found them a bit cold, no egyptian warmness we are used too. we booked a garden view room but the garden was not related to any garden. the hot water takes around 5-9 minutes to work. still, the hotel is very good and those are minor problems in the end.
The room was clean and very good. A very nice pool on the roof top with beautiful view over the Nile and west bank.
The girls at the reception don't speak very much English. The internet's only downstairs, at the reception, but it's not yet a fact that it will work (there is smth wrong with their network).
the nile view is amazing.
the breakfast is in a dark restaurant,i ask ,if i could take my coffee and yoghurt up to my balcony that was not allowed, also the breakfast,is not fresh
Location was great, easy walk into town, and the pool is a nice oasis after a long day of grave-gazing...
The waiters in the restaurant , and the lady in the reception, and the housekeeping staff were polite and nice
The management is not flexible to the complaints of the guests. we came to the hotel we found that the booking was not confirmed at the reception, the room was not as expected , the towels looked very old and not clean, and the hot water didn’t work for 15 Minutes, the furniture was very shabby. I asked to change the room, the manager was very rude and tough .
Very short stay, since we arrived very late - so cannot really say
Arrived late and tired. Hotel wanted us to pay in US$ - even though this was on the booking email "You will pay the hotel in the hotel’s local currency (EGP) at the exchange rate on day of payment." Our luggage was sent to the wrong floor and being tired and frustrated this was just another thing that irritated. I emailed them to inform them we are going to arrive late, but never got a response from them.
Was a garden room facing nothing bur rubbish . you ran the tap for at least 15-20 min before you had hot water!! Washed the hall floor with dirty water and never swept the step, so dirt was in all the time, plus no warnings danger wet floor. Breakfast well couldn't call it that no milk only dried, and sugar not on tables but in dirty stick containers. Plus payment demanded before you had satayed guess visitors had just walked out!! Why Iron / metal doors locked with padlock to be opened at night when every one asleep clould not get through their heads the danger if a fire would never recommend nor stay there again .and this is my 46 time in Luxor very basic , Lotus better across the road if you just want basic plus , yes had to go out and buy my own breakfast no milk and toast plus only Egyptian food and days old only thing fresh was eggs but how old they were. Don't use
