Overlooking the Nile River, this hotel is located on a tranquil tree-lined street in the commercial center of Zamalek Island. It offers spacious rooms and has a restaurant that serves Spanish cuisine....

Just a short walk from Cairo Tower, Novotel Cairo El Borg is in a great location in central Cairo, only 650 ft from Cairo Opera house. The rooms have views overlooking the Nile or Cairo city.

The staff is amazingly helpful
the elevator never seemed to work
Very clean hotel
The location is perfect but thats about it
Breakfast, staff , low level of comfort
Nothing , it was not a hotel Very expensive, same price as four star hotels in pyramids road , so i thought it would be better
No room service, no carpet, no bathtub, no view, nothing Breakfast from 8 to 11 very late for business travellars
People are nice very friendly The room was nice and clean The bed was soo comfortable
Friendly and helpful staff, very accommodating.
Staff , clean , wifi , breakfast options and location
location is good, and they offer free pickup from the airport and that was good
it is not really hotel it is like motel in part of building, my room wasn't ready and they accommodated me in other bigger room than they shifted me later, poor breakfast, also the cleanliness was very poor,
receptionist Mr Ahmed would get out his way to make your stay the most comfort , the most pleasant , i would diffenetly stay here again..
bell boy (fat boy) needs to show a little bet of extra care to guests to meet up the excellency of the hotel.
Good location, excellent staff - the best we have come across in a lot of travel experiences, nice & comfortable hotel.
The only down point was the crowded breakfast venue.
Staff was super nice they checked me in 9 in morning arrange anything I need answerd all my questions.
Can't find anything
The reception staff is extremely friendly and helpful with all requests, if they can The rooms with a balcony are spacious, although some of them are crammed with extra beds which leave little circulation space. But the enclosed balcony doubles as a living space. During the night the traffic noise from the corniche just below decreases - but better take you oropax with you. The location at the entry to Garden City is a location prestigeous and easy to remember. But you have to walk for at least 10 minutes to find any kind of infrastructure like restaurants or shops.
The Wifi connection is very unreliable except in early morning hours. But case of emergency you can always go to the Four Seasons Hotel next door and enjoy the excellent free internet connection at the lounge while having a real coffee (for US$ 7,-) The breakfast room is anything else than inviting: toaster placed on a broken bar seat with square slices of white bread in a plastic bag next to it. Four tables facing a TV with any type of program that happens to pass. Cheese, tomato/cucumber and other stuff that you have to fiddle out beyond a plastic foil that the staff forgot to remove. The standard rooms without balcony don't seem to have an outside window. The lingerie washing service comes without ironing unless you order it specifically. Since there is only one linen sheet provided per bed you must ask for a second one to cover yourself. This seems to be a cultural specifity rather than lack of care.
the staff generally are polite and helpfull and they made free transportation for me and my familly from airport to the hotel which is good
when you reach the hotel considering you will have a reception in the ground floor as with all normal hotel ,you discover that it is some flates between 1rst ,2ned and 4th floor from very big building .second proplem the elevator go from ground to up floor and you can not collect from upper floor to go down especially not suitable for eldray people .
Near from cancer hospital and the staff
Mini bar not working, should renew the towels and bathrobes
The eclectic decor, the bed, the Nile across the road, the location, the staff offer personal consideration often missing in larger hotels.
Bathrooms very small and claustrophobic, often issues with Wifi, while breakfasts are fresh and clean and fresh hot food is cooked to order, there is no variation. We've been here many days and it's the same every day.
Location. - Facilities. - Comfortable.
Expensive - wifi signal
Overall is ok.. good location.. The room is spasious, comfort n clean.. wifi always works n strong.. the bathroom is clean with the hotwater also
Sometimes Lift didn't work.. but the staff always standby to help u..
A very good hotel but always fully booked even though you book a week earlier
The breakfast !! To much different tastes... Something more simple will be better. Just the omelette was very nice.
location, comfort and cleanliness
no swimming pool
Very friendly staff, excellent location, couldn't be better for the money paid.
Breakfast restaurant too small for the number of the rooms.
Very helpful and nice personal
Nice and clean hotel with comfortable beds. Location very next to river Nile's felucca. Museum/Tahrir Square were at walking distance
Hotel was very difficult to find as no signage. It is easier if the mention on their website that it is next to Four Seasons Hotel. Hotel is on 2nd Floor of a building with no Sign outside.
The breakfast was delicious and the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. A special thanks to Ahmed, Guest Relations Manager..
