Overlooking the Nile River, this hotel is located on a tranquil tree-lined street in the commercial center of Zamalek Island. It offers spacious rooms and has a restaurant that serves Spanish cuisine....

Location.. The roof top is amazing, you get to see the Nile from a spectacular view, they serve drinks there, but don't do go for food, it's disgusting
Reception is just depressing, elevator definitely needs renovation, the cleanliness is just below the average standards, breakfast is ridiculous, no towels, and don't even think to use the toilet.
Power cuts everyday. No emergency exits. Stairs are blocked.Elevator is the only option, which stops working when there is no electricity. Cockroaches inside the room.
The only good thing about this place is that is in Zamalek, which is the island where the "old money" lives. Hence, access to OK, but overpriced, restaurants. Everyday I would go out of Zamalek to do my sight seeing!
1. No Internet in room. 2. Bed really difficult to sleep on - hard. Bottom sheet looks clean, top/main blanket was definitely washed once a month. 3. Room smelled like smoke - I guess this is normal in Egypt. 4. Owners and staff gather/sit at the lobby all day, as if to keep track of who comes in and out - made us feel uncomfortable seeing the same people on those chairs sit for hours. Plus, place is all smelly with cigarette smoke. 5. Zamalek is more expensive than downtow Cairo and or Dokki. You pay more, for food, water, taxi, etc..., simply for staying there. This suck because most of the day you are elsewhere sight seeing. 6. Hotel experience at this level is not recommended, or at least this place makes the rest look bad. Better to stay at a 4 or 5 star hotel for more comfort. I also recommend AirBnB - can offer some of the best places to stay without the hassle of hotel and extra fees.
Quite place Good price Nile can be seen from some rooms
There was no refrigerator in my room, I asked for one but that wasn't Possible. I had to move at night to another room. Very poor breakfast. Siphon doesn't work at the new room.
Walking distance to best restaurants on the Nile and safe cause of all embassies around it
Nothing else to like - Internet is not working and when asked why theit answer was - signal is poor. Room wasn't cleaned at all or bedsheets changed. Bed was so uncomfortable that I had awful back and hip pain. Got a bottle of Klorox to clean the bathroom and even bought new towels and bedsheets. Stayed only cause of location and rooftop bar and as I used it only for sleeping. Breakfast was a big disaster and after getting stomach problems I never returned.
no housekeeping service, room wasnt cleaned in 2 days!
Nice and clean hotel. Situated in alzamalik area which is calm but it's easy to get to most places from there. Nice staff. Good value .for money
Sometimes it's difficult to get taxis from nearby and you might need to walk.a short distance to the main road
Excellent location and value for money.
Some of the staff was less friendly to a young solo female traveller
