The staff was amazing! Very friendly. Free internet (but slow). The beds were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was filling (3 slices of bread with jam, butter and cheese & an egg with choice of coffee, tea or water). |

Very good location , very kindly personals , pretty breakfast :) i liked "fig jar" a lot and fresh breads :) thats so good :) And every personals want to see you when you smile , so they work for that ! Wi-fi internet is free also and they meet you at the Cairo International Airport ! If you stay 4 and more days in that hotel , airport transfer is free ! Hotel is next to Egyptian National Museum and El Kasr Nile , Talat Harb Square is the most known places , especially nights are very crowded , so there is very safety ! Police is in everywhere ! |

I simply loved it, I'm very picky in cleanines, sheets, bathroom, this little hotel has really something, it's like being at some friends house, there's no other place where I would like to be if I'm in Cairo, I do business, so I will come back, Inchaa ALLAH rabb el 3alamine Just the water pressure was very weak, but we still can take a shower, in winter it might be a bit cold, because it takes some time for the water temperature to adjust |

people are nice and helpfull. But they have to stop selling add-ons to guest instead give them prompt advise only if they ask.Why every1 in egypt is a saleman?good b/f accomodating and freindly. I thougth room was private ensuite, but my bathroom and toilet was common.even though i had reservation(second one while coming back to london)they extended somebody's stay. When i reached hotel they didnt have any.And they didnt arrange any room for me in any other hotel.I was waiting for nearly 3 hours to get the room in other hotel. That upset me a bit,as time is everything when your travelling. |

nice, professional and very friendly staff, comfortable beds, lovely terrace to relax - perfect for hot days, clean bathrooms and toilets, in the heart of cairo would improve the breakfast menu - in the hot days would be nice to serve fruits and fresh juices instead of eggs and bread |

It has a beautiful lobby on fifth floor with view of this crazy city Cairo. We spent there a lot of time talking to nice guy Akhmed (receptionist), smoking shisha and drinking tea. Dirty entrance to the building. Very old elevator. |

I liked the charming staff, the location of the hostel. Though Arabs will be Arabs! The hostel is at the 5th floor and the elevator doesn't work most of the time. Excursions offered do not fully cover the expenses. Locally you are surprised by additional costs from e.g. 112 Euro and running up! The promises transfer from and to the airport remained only the pick-up from the airport. An additional 10 Euro was charged for transfer to the airport. |

Friendly staff and nice guests. Great terrace on roof. Don't forget earplugs since Cairo Downtown has a lot of traffic. |

Staff friendly and helpfull. They allowed us to have the room for as long as we wanted after check out while we waited for our flight. Room large with aircon. Good location if you like shopping. Taxi they charge to and from airport was expensive. You could get it alot cheaper outside the hotel. Breakfast was dull - a couple rolls, jam and a hard boiled egg. The bed only had a sheet and a heavy overthrow which looked dirty. Had to take the sheet off another bed to use as a cover. |

Mohamed at reception dest was exellant - without any "egyptian hospitality" he was halpful and gentle. Hotel is ok for low bugget travelers, with perfect location at down town. Alladin will halp you to organise the tours not only in Cairo but in all Egypt. |

The staff was very helpful and friendly and there is a relaxed, informal atmosphere. The hotel is situated in the centre, which makes it convenient for city excursions on foot and makes it easy to return to the hotel to relax during the day - something that can be quite useful. One disappointment: the first night, there was no room for me, although I had made a reservation in advance through booking.com and sent an e-mail about my late arrival (middle of the night) several days before. Also, there was a misunderstanding about the kind of room I had booked/was being offered. |

The value for money and the location were the positive points, but I would not stay there again Elevator only reached 4th floor - hostel is on 5th floor. Elevator call button and elevator controls were not working at all for the downward journey. So all descents (some 100 steps - I didn't count exactly) were on foot. Showers were in small wc cubicles, floors were treacherous when wet. Hostel bar is soft drinks only - no beer (although they offered to go out and buy). Light in rooms was poor |

Location great. 5th floor, 26 Kassar El-Nile (aka Qassr El-Nile,Qasser El Nil,etc)- in the middle of downtown shopping zone for clothes, shoes etc. Rooms are clean. Buying tours OK. Negotiote price OK. We got a driver with good English who said he is not a guide, but commented on the sites on the way which was helpful. Just outside there's a coffee shop & a 'burger' shop where many locals drop in. 1) Check if there are any windows in your room. 2) About buying tours: Insist on the places and options you really want to visit. Say no to any Carpet or Perfume Institutes unless you are interested in buying stuff. |
