The staff was second to none!!…very helpful and accommodating and went out of their way to provide service:)…the location is amazing….from the rooftop terrace the view of the pyramids and sphinx is breath taking…felt very safe here and would definitely stay again:)..atm nearby and restaurants also…and plenty of shopping for souvenirs and the like:)

the area that the hotel is in is a tourist business area…you have to take into account that the business around there is mainly for pyramid tours…i.e….camel and horseback tours…carriage rides…so it is a bit dusty and unkempt on the streets…but the stay at this hotel and the wonderfully friendly staff…entirely overshadow the surrounding area…and again…i felt very safe here!!second to none:))

The friendly and warm staff and the view. We arrived around 11 PM and were brought up on the roof to take a first look at the pyramids. Even at 11 PM, in almost total darkness, it's still impressive. But when you wake up the next day and drink you coffee with the Sphinx looking into your eyes well, what can you add? Excellent value for the money. Nice breakfast.

This is not a 5* hotel so you should not expect the facilities to be equivalent to a 5* hotel. We went for the view and were not disappointed. If you are overly concerned with the surroundings and absolutely want full luxury, maybe you should look somewhere else.

You really cannot get any closer to the Pyramids unless you were a Pharoah! You literally look outside your window and see the Sphinx with the Pyramids behind. We weren't lucky enough to get there early enough, but you can probably see the light show from the balcony. Rooms are pretty basic, but you get your own bathroom, even if it is not attached to your room. Breakfast is included and they even arranged for a great tour guide, and rides to and from the airport (extra). Incredible value.

Location & Rooftop terrasse in front of the pyramids is insane!

Got screwed over for the price of bus tickets from Cairo to Luxor -- host overcharged us by quite a bit.

Super great location! The view on pyramids is superb! You see all three great ones and Sphynx, and add sunset to this. One of the great experiences you can get from Egypt (good company would be great surely, the calm atmosphere and view on thousands of years of history under black night is quite romantic). The personal is very helpful and ready to provide you almost everything from tours to beer on rooftop (or I forgot great rooftop). Better take room with view on pyramids to see these things in the morning.

Surely it is not European hotel, but if you get used to Egyptian ones you know what to expect. No TV in the room - but actually that's for good))

Excellent view of the pyramids from the room and the rooftop deck area. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and modern. Breakfast is hearty. Price is reasonable.

Though the hotel is great, the location , aside from access to the pyramids is pretty foul. The area is quite noisy, and one is accosted by sellers and con artists the minute you exit the hotel. Also, getting a taxi to anywhere else in Cairo from here can be quite costly.

Staff was excellent and helpful. Great service all around. Location is perfect to visit the Pyramids. Overall a great Inn with a great ambiance, definitely recommended, and the owner is a good guy.

Location is a bit of a doubled edged sword because while you obviously have a great view of the Pyramids you are far from downtown Cairo. Also, there can be a lot of mosquitos at night so bring repellant.

The view of the Great Pyramids of Giza can be viewed from the terrace. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is traditional, served at the table on the terrace. Tea, coffee and water is available free 24 hours a day. There are plenty of restaurants, stores of all kinds, fresh fruit stall and more - just outside the main door.

The staff was amazingly friendly. The view of the pyramids lives up to it's name. It's by far the best view in Giza. The room was spacious and very clean. They provide the guest with ear plugs if needed. The wifi worked and it was free. There are shops right down stairs and amazing kabobs down the street. The people around are very friendly. The sound and light show at night is free from this location.

Nothing at all this place is amazing !!!!

The rooftop terrace has the most amazing view over the sphinx and the pyramids. This is not the place to stay if you are after luxury, but for location it can't be beaten.

The staff is very friendly. Kamal and his team are very helpful. The hotel is very convenient for those who want to visit the pyramids as the hotel is in front of the gate. Also, you can watch the "Sound and Light Show" directly from hotel's balcony for free. From your bedroom you can see the amazing pyramids and the Sphinx.

The bathroom is outside the room, despite it is private for you. You do not have confort.

The level of services provided by the Pyramid View Inn's staff exceeds expectation and I would like to commend our tour guide , Abdul for being our fantastic tour guide, body guard, personal butler and humorous down to earth friend. My wife and me got to love and respect his sense of truthfulness and friendship even for the short stay at Pyramid View. Also thanks to the other ground staff who made our stay a memorable one !

Being a low cost Bed and Breakfast lodge, do not expect the luxury of a 5 star hotel but enjoy a 5 Star service !

This hotel has the best view in Giza. The upstairs patio is the perfect place to relax and watch the Sounds and Lights Show on the Pyramids. The owner and staff are friendly and service oriented. The tour guides (available if requested) are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They are honest and keep pushy merchants away. The hotel offers free coffee, tea, water, and you can order food to be delivered.

The location is great, but it can be a little noisy for light sleepers.

Well we had just done 2 weeks of luxury at Sharm el Sheikh, and decided 2 days at cheap and cheerful for the kids to see the Pyramids would suffice. Well I wont lie we were a little shocked upon arrival as it is a very small dated house with bedrooms let out and the room was smaller than we expected. However after talking to the staff and owner they explained I could have the larger room the following day as it was occupied that first night. And as promised next day larger room given. As we had 3 little ones we used the communal lounge for our meals and breakfast. Now I am a really fussy person but i have to really hand it to them it was really clean. The bathroom looks old is tiled with kitchen tiles lots of raw edging but undeniably very clean. Also they staff very very nice the warden who seems to watch over things seems a bit scary at first (a bit like lurch from the Adams family) but could not be nicer or more helpful, my children really liked him. So overall I would really recommend they are not interested in making money just supplying a facility for people and really to be able to open your bedroom window and see the pyramids well WOW that's all I can say. You have full use of the kitchen unlimited bottled water they even will get special breakfast in for you. So overall great yes yes not the Hilton but the staff far nicer. And again very clean bedding, rooms and bathroom which means more to a mum with a 6yrs 4yrs and 10 month old more than you can realise. So go with an open mind and you will realise great value for money especially if you want to see Giza and sights literally on your doorstep. Oh and the gentleman who complained in his review about how annoying the calls to prayer were I suggest you don't travel out of America in the future!!!!

We chose here as my 4yr old gets really travel sick and in the current climate worried abut being in Cairo central. So ideally situated if you don't want to travel too much, however if you have an early flight would recommend staying at a hotel airport the last night as about 40 mins to airport. Now there is the obvious noise of the street and the call to prayer from the minaret, but hey that is what makes it authentic so you cant complain about that, but for those who have issues they do supply earplugs which is rather funny if you ask me, don't get me wrong prefer the quiet but hey I get that at home. And it could be brought a little up to date. But overall really good to be honest.

In one word: everything. Pyramids View is one of the best places I've ever stayed. The staff was fantastic, always friendly and accommodating. The view can't be beat. As far as the cost versus what you get, this was one of the best deals I've ever seen. If you're going to Egypt, stay at Pyramids View.

The place itself was clean, but with all the camels and horses around the area outside could get a little dirty. I grew up farming, so the smell didn't bother me, but I could see it aggravating some people. Minor issue.
