Location, location, location!! The balcony view is amazing! You can loose a whole day/ night sitting up there. The staff bring you free tea and coffee all day and at night are more than happy to fetch you a beer! A real highlight of my trip! The staff are all amazing! Always willing to help!! Make sure you pay extra for a room with a view, it's amazing seeing the pyramids with the sun rising. You really feel like apart of the family here!
Some of the staff can be a little pushy for tours but once you politely say no they leave you alone. The free airport pick up is great! But was a little taken back when the driver told me the car is free but the driver wasn't and I had to pay him. Funny enough I had no money as I forgot to get money out at atm so I didn't pay him. The rooms though are a little dirty and needs some love and attention. A simple coat of paint would make a big difference
This is a great place to stay when visiting Cairo. All the staff is very friendly and helpful from Gabriel who picked me up at the airport at an ungodly early hour to Kamal and all the other young men working the desk and bringing tea and food. Abdul was a fantastic guide and looked after me like I was family. Everyone really treats you like family here and that really makes for a fun and enjoyable time. Can't beat the view either.
My room was right on the street and the noise at night made it difficult to sleep with dogs and horns and motor bikes roaring around. They do supply earplugs but ask for a room off the street.
It's located right in front of the Pyramids. You can not ask for a better location. The stuff is very helpful and friendly. I definitely come back.
The location was fantastic and the staff could not have been more helpful and thoughtful.
wifi wasn't great, but it really didn't matter as you don't stay there for that.
This has to be the best value for money considering the most spectacular view one can possibly ask for in Egypt. I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to experience ancient Egypt. The staff could not have been more helpful. They arranged our local tour guide of Giza and Cairo for us. Abdoul was simply the best tour guide we have asked for. As a family business we also felt like one of the family members. They also arranged forus the one day Luxor trip which was worth every cent.
Great location just in front of pyramids so that you can enjoy them all day and night long! Rooms are ok, but the true value of this hotel is the staff and the drivers. They will make you feel really home and visit the city in a friendly way!
the location is perfect, just outside the door of the pyrimads, near the local market 5-8mins by walking. the free airport pick up is really helpful. the hotel staff is quite helpful
the facility is very old, the room facing road is quite noisy. only one KFC nearby, not so easy to find sth to eat. the room is quite old and small, the bathroom ventilation is terrible.
We were a family of 4 and we really enjoyed the experience of staying here. The best parts were the rooftop views and the endless tea! The staff made us feel at home and brought us wonderful kushari from a local restaurant. It was so wonderful to see the sound and light show each night from the roof. It was a great adventure for our family and we will always remember it.
It's not luxurious, but we were there to see the sites, and we were exhausted! The beds were so comfortable. The hotel was just what we wanted.
The hotel is in the prime location of Giza, with a steps away from the great Pyramids. The view from the balcony is spectacular. You can enjoy light & Sound show much better from the balcony and that to free !!!
Rooms are small, beds are not very comfortable. Soon you come out of hotel you smell camel & horse dung.
Location, pick up at the airport.
Dirty and smelly room, windows were blocked underground, so no air at all. It's not even a 1 star hotel.
Best location you can get, simply the best. Safe to walk around in, great low priced places to eat, very friendly people. The beds are a bit stiff, the staff is nice but 1 manager insists to take photos with the women after giving them a cheap necklace and then wants you to email it to him. Other than that creepy guy everyone was helpful. The balcony is a perfect place to watch the Pyramids Light show for free! (Saves you 100 egyptian pounds) The breakfasts are lovely also. $72 is a bit pricey though, but worth it when everything else is just so far away.
The oh so creepy manager that gives all the women a cheap necklace, wants you to yake his photo with them, and then email it to him. If you don't email him asap he hounds you. Beware.
Perfect from the start... Abdul was ready to collect me from the airport, despite my 3 hour delay, and took me safely to the hotel (free of charge). He was the perfect host and tour guide, with a wealth of useful information. The hotel staff were equally efficient and eager to attend my needs for food and drink. Achmed was tending reception in the evening and showed me a lovely local coffee shop, where we could also enjoy some shisha. The hotel is perfectly situated next to the pyramids, which can be viewed from the bedroom balcony and from the roof terrace.
View from the roof terrace is fantastic. The staff were always helpful and attentive. Breakfast was very good.Guide associated with the guest house is excellent; very knowledgable.
Room and wash facilities a little on the small size and without window, but improvements appear to be in progress.
+ the view is amazing!
the fact that the private bathroom is not in the room but at the other side of the corridor is a little bit unpleasant.
The staff was amazing and helped us arrange a tour that we thoroughly enjoyed. The airport pickup was also very much appreciated. Room was clean and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting. Thank you!
All was good and the service was remarkable, but the cleanliness was about what one would expect from a hostel. Otherwise, greatly enjoyed it! Again, the staff were amazing!
I will add that the tour guide arranged for us only seemed marginally knowledgeable and spent much of his time trying to get us to buy his friends merchandise. Set up a tour through someone else.
Staff were amazing, location is what you're staying for and it delivers and more. Very helpful and happy. Water and tea\coffee free any time. Breakfast included as required by you. Tours organised for you to a variety of places. Tour guides great! Highly recommended
Location, so close to the Sphinx and Pyramids! Owners and staff extremely helpful, airport pick up reliable, even though he forgot where he parked the car. Very nice to have food delivered to the rooftop where you can dine and gaze at the pyramids. (Beware the thief... cat). They know it's going to be noisy, so include ear plugs with your stay, very thoughtful.
The cat jumped on the table outside while I was taking a picture, and it ate parts of my dinner. Be wary of this little animal.
Pyramid view inn charged us for for 4 beds apartment with tv lounge and kitchen but we were sent to four sphnix guest house right after check in. They gave us two seperate bed room but the rooms condition were so bad that we decided to stay in one togather. They moved us to a slightly clean room next day but without tv lounge & kitchen. We complaint to them many times why we weren't given the apartment what we had paid for. They couldn't give us any solid reason.
The view was stunning from their rooftop terrace. The location is between the main entrance to the Pyramids and the Light and Sound show entrance. You can watch the full sound and light show from the terrace for free. The narration is very clear. The breakfasts were tasty. They had a driver pick us up at the airport. Ibrahim the Driver was excellent, we negotiated a daily rate and he took us where we wanted to go, Siqqarah and the Cairo Museum. He also met us a 6:30 to take us to the train station for a reasonable sum.
This is NOT a luxury hotel. The lobby, if you can call it that, consists of a couch and check in desk. Make sure you see your room before payment, which they want up front. Giza is not the place to wander around on your own, as it looks pretty seedy. You can arrange for Beer or food to be brought in, but make sure you negotiate the price first. The tourist economy is hurting and every item comes with additional charge, e.g. Beer brought to the hotel, starts at 25LE but you can get for 20, and only cost 12 in a duty free shop, which they will not tell you where it is. Their tours seemed very overpriced. We went without a guide without incident because we expected the many hawks. Read up on the pyramids as there is no signage on site, every helpful stranger expects money. If you want to go inside the pyramids, there is an extra ticket, be sure to ask for it when you buy the entry ticket. Did I mention that there is no signage. You can buy a ticket to the Boat Museum at the actual museum in the Giza site.
Although our room wasn't ready when we arrived the staff were very friendly they set us up on the roof top patio where they served us a complimentary meal which was delicious; as time passed it was obvious that another guess had decided to extend their visit, so the staff quickly made arrangements with an hotel directly beside them Guardian House Hotel and we were given another room which was more than satisfactory the owner and staff were very very kind and respectful to us, I would highly recommend either of these hotel. Thank you to both and God Bless
The only thing somewhat negative was how we were constantly harassed by merchants when we left the building.
Amazing rooftop view of the Pyramids. The staff were above and beyond friendly and helpful and were really interested in making our visit to Egypt the best it could be. They arrange private excursions with their staff (Abdoel is amazing) who give a better experience than going on a bus tour. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will definitely go back. They made our trip!
Samy and his Staff have looked after us on a couple of visits now. This time I even took my mother for the trip of her lifetime. Kamal was fantastic and organised everything we needed. Get a guide to get the most out of your trips and you also won't get hassled. Don't worry about what you hear on the news you need only arm yourself with a smile and a sense of adventure.
Because of the location it can be noisy but thats the price you pay for one of the best panoramas in the world!
When I read that there was a pyramid view I did not expect it to be this amazing! The rooftop oasis is gorgeous with a full view of the pyramids and sphinx! Definitely recommend to book your tours through the pyramid view inn! We had Abdul who spent the whole day with us from 7.30am to 10pm, driving us to the pyramids, the museum and the Nile river cruise! He was ahhhhhmazing! He made our trip!!! He was knowledgable, entertaining and above all, a friend! You need to have Abdul involved in your Cairo holiday, trust me! The staff were all so hospitable offering to get us food and drinks at all hours, serving breakfast and unlimited bottled water! Felt like such a family environment! Thank you Kamal for our little gifts, skinny for doing all the little things for us and Muhammed for the friendly greeting when we arrived and throughout.... And the biggest thank you to Abdul! We love you!!! Hopefully see you again one day! Mashi mashi?? ;)
Location, comfort, ample space, four full size beds. The staff are very helpful and happy people. Always smiling. The apt. was very clean, and furniture was simple but very good condition most new. e loved the apt. and the staff.
The only thing was that the kitchen did not have a stove, microwave nor a electric kettle, but they would prepare for coffee or tea any time free of charge.
