A heated pool floating on the Nile is one of the most unique features of this 4-star hotel. Overlooking the Theben Hills, Iberotel Luxor also offers a restaurant boat and rooms with private balconies....

That I have to pay for the wifi
Location is not bad..
The guy at the front desk was really rude !! I went with my overseas friend to book our double room and the guy shakes the hand of my friend with a big smile on his face and didn't even bother to look at me !! And when my friend noticed that behaviour ( which is unfortunately everywhere in luxor) that he kind of ignored me completely.. He told him that's my friend over here but still.. Didn't even bother... I think your staff needs to learn how to treat people equally especially if we're from the same country ... Otherwise .. They should work in the kitchen or something !!!
Really Thanks Sheraton
We paid £38 a night for a nice room in the Sheraton. The pool is really nice overlooking the Nile, and the location is just slightly out of the main town so its nice and quiet there. We found a great Tour company called Petra Travel just down the road. He is the one closest. He has great prices, and great guides. I'd strongly recommend him. With standards in Egypt its definitely worth paying a bit more to stay in a place like the Sheraton there.
The Breakfast is average for the price you pay there. The breakfast was 100Le (about £10) and its a really average buffet. You can eat downtown for about 5Le and get some nice street food which tastes nicer. The Wifi is only free in the Lobby and its intermittent. Its works some time but not others. Also - When you walk out the taxis and horse drivers are really aggressive its gets quite tiresome.
The Indian restaurant served brown sludge which had not been cooked to order. It tasted of microwave and that was confirmed as some parts of the chicken were cold and some parts were hot. I sent it back and all they did was microwave it again. The food and drink were overpriced, £2500 for Laurent Perrier NV champagne? The mattress was old and soft. Hot water in bathroom was erratic due to return valve blockage. Called reception twice to rectify this problem. Je
The hotel staff made me feel valued as a guest and I was well looked after. The Christmas Eve dinner was most enjoyable and the entertainment provided by a young belly dancer was good fun. The DJ for the evening was excellent and he played music requests for guests.
Outside areas need attention. Crazy paving around circular outdoor pool needs to be redone. It is dangerous for the elderly to walk on and difficult for wheelchair users to traverse. Jacuzzi near the bungalows is a hazard and care should be taken when coming out of it.
The peace of the hotel, the quality of the food. The staff are so efficient, friendly and welcoming. Rooms are a good size with the additional benefit of UK 3pin plug! Good choice of restaurants. Availability of taxis without the hassle of going outside hotel grounds
The hassle in Luxor and the are immediately around the hotel. The look overlooking the Nile being unheated.
Nothing..couple staffs were ok
Dirty bed, rude and unfriendly staffs. No smile, no greetings, double standard treatment, food was bad and all over priced. No spa, no gym, no recreational activities to entertain guest, poor wifi service.
Location, friendly staff & good food
Nothing..everything was good
The staff, breakfast, Indian restaurant, View over the Nile
Hassle from taxi and carriage drivers immediately you leave the complex.
hospitality, serine atmosphere, very beautiful nature, most wonderful touristic tours
Good location. Excelent room comf and clean. Good bed. Polite staff. by the Nile, beautiful view. good restaurants and facilities. I would recommend this hotel.
No free wifii.
Location was excellent and a lovely views over the river nile. Staff were excellent could.nt do enough for you
Friendly staff and excellent facilities. Fully recommend.
In a dark side of Luxor, smelly, rude staff especially the woman called ward in reception , no internet access, even though I was told there is free wifi
Rooms Swimming pool Some staff Breakfast
Some staff make business with costumers in several issues Some staff dont know what is working in a 5 stars hotel
I liked that I found Indian food in Hotel.
I have asked the comb with House keeping where they unable understand English , and I have found there is no Comb or Shaving kit or No Soap inside the hotel bath room
The hotel was nicely kept and in good order. Lunch on the terraace was reasonably priced, tasty, and well presented. They made us a boxed breakfast to take to the airport for our early morning flight and arranged a taxi as well.
The restaurant / pool overlook the Nile, but our room did not, given the occupancy rate, it should have.
Everything was great! The staff was very friendly and really offered one of the best hotel experiences I got in Egypt. After coming back from a long day of visiting the archeological sites in the dust we got a room to take a shower before we took our flight out of the city (we had checked out that morning)!!! Fantastic!
Beware of taxi drivers in front of the hotel. The Internet in the rooms is not free.
There is a taxi mafia in front of the hotel and the hotel management is aware of that. The hotel is not in the center of the city and to get out of it you need a taxi. But the only taxi drivers that you can find there are members of one family and they start with "you are my friend it will be very cheap or complimentary" but in the end it appears to be sky high price and you can't avoid it because they are the only ones allowed to be I. Front of the hotel and the hotel management is aware of the situation and ok with it.
nothing everything was good
The staff at this hotel are very polite and always there to help. The room was clean as would be expected from the Sheraton and the breakfast had a good spread and lots of choice. The nicest thing I found was the bed. So soft and luxurious!
The hotel is too far from the Cornish and centre of Luxor. A good 40 minute walk. I didn't mind as I like walking. The Calesh drivers are a problem and can be quite rude if you don't take one of their rides. If it wasn't for these calesh drivers, and I know they need to make a living, but there is no need to be rude to the point of threatening. Sheraton, you must do something about this
No computer reception In room it's lousy
