Requested repairs three time. Never got repairs

Attitude of staff very casual. Mosuqitos in room. Demand of room comfort never met. Always make false promises. It looks as I lost my money

Location Far from the city . Dont ever trust the taxi parking infront of the hotel.

I did like everything: from the excellent breakfast to the cleanliness of the room as well as the staff very friendly and helpful. The garden and the pool are fantastic.

Every thing was good, i would visit this Hotel again.

The location was unbeatable - the Giza Pyramids are within a stone's throw and visible from the pool area and rooftop restaurant.

There didn't seem to be any shuttles to the Pyramids or other attractions in Cairo provided by the hotel. It would be nice to have some excursions available through their facilities.

Very comfortable with cleanliness. Decoration and interior was good. Delicious desserts & fruit basket were served complementary.

The staffs were not prompt enough to answer phone calls. Housekeeping was very late to appear upon phone call. We got disturbed by the noise from the street people 24/7, this specially occurs in every pyramid facing rooms.

I went with my fiancee. We are both professional adults. We took separate rooms, because we are not married. When she attempted to visit my room, she was followed by staff and it was made clear to us that it was not permitted for her to visit the room. The man lingered outside my room to prevent her from coming to my room. This is outrageous. The hotel was in Egypt, but neither of us are Egyptian. The hotel is a business, not an enforcer of private morality.

There were peope making a lot of noise during the night, and the staff did not do anything

Mercure Sphinx is a great place to stay in Cairo,close enough to pyramids, safe area, and within walking distance to many good and cheap restaurants. You can get good dinner in Cairo within price range of 5 to 20$ only. Back to hotel itself, when we arrived we had smooth and quick check-in after paying for total stay in cash (they accept all currencies),the room was clean and comfortable,the wi-fi is available for free in lobby but for a charge in room. Overall great value for the money. If you are willing to book some tours while in Egypt like the amazing nile cruise in Luxor,I would recommend you to contact www.brilliantegyptours.com ,they helped us arranging fantastic and memorable trip in all place Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and Alexandria at very cheap price.

The Lobby is very nice but the outside front of the hotel does not represent how nice the hotel is internally.

The Hotel is 2 km from the great pyramides from Giza. The hotel has an excellent breakfast buffet and has nice and friendly staff. The hotel has good security measures and is very safe

The speed of the Internet in the rooms and in the hotel lobby is very slow.

The people at reception advertise for taxi's and tours but these are con men just like one's in the street. Once you have a hotel taxi, then they start conning you out of more money, beware.

The Truth, Nothing I like at the Hotel, there were no Hotwater, I called several times, I switch rooms,The Furnture is old and the sheet on bed not clear, it was a shame to call severla times for 2 days only to change it, the locaiton is far and there is no Transportion there at all, they got that point to charge whatever price they wish, wow bad experince booking.com with this hotel
