Sol Cyrene Hotel  

The location of the hotel directly on the Red sea. The water is very clean and sunrise all the day. Good Egyptian foods.Rooms have nice views on the beach. Most of guests from Russian and Italian people.

There is a super market which belonging to the hotel located between the hotel and the beach. The food products in the supermarket is expired and dates written only in Arabic language. Also, they change rates of the us $ 1 = 5.0 Egyptian pound in spite of it is = 6.. So, it is better to pay in Egyptian pounds and changes money from the city (us $ = 5.97 egp). Also if you pay in dollars you can not take the rest of your money. So, take care to have small currency with you. Also, the hotel location is far from the city center (about 20 km) and there is know public transport absolutely. Taximeter is stopped against the hotel and if you foreigner, the driver will ask you a very big amount of money because the meter of the taxi out of work and the price is not written. So, be careful to ask the driver how much he need before taking a taxi (it is about 25 - 30 Egyptian pounds to city center or to the old city). It is the responsibility of the hotel. The hotel must declare about the prices of the taxi for his guest. If you want to by a sim mobile from the supermarket located inside the hotel (against the reception directly) they ask to pay 7 us $, in addition to 7 us $ to charge the mobile, in spite of the official price in the city is less than only one us $ for all companies (Vodafone, Mobinil or Etisalat). The tourist companies working with this hotel for internal trip (like tez tour) is verey very expensive. For Example, the trip from Sharm El-sheik to Luxor by plane (one day) is 250 us $, you can buy a ticket for the same trip from the city by only 130 us $. a trip to Aquapark = 40 us $ , you can buy it from the city by 25 us $ maximum
