Cafe des Delices offers freshly baked food, ice cream creations, fresh fruit juices and cocktails. The pool snack bar Tropicano has a tempting choice of snacks and drinks and the Arabesque pool marquee houses a barbecue. End your meal with an aromatic shisha, the traditional water pipe.
On the 31st of December the New Year Gala dinner party will take place; its price is included in the room rate.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Lebanese restaurant was great. The entertainment, particularly the Whirling Dirvish type act was amazing!! Cannot answer the questions about guest reviews on the hotel because I did not read these before selecting the hotel. The selection was made on price alone and because I know Steigenberger from Germanyl |

Good value for money. Comfortable, spacy rooms. Great view on the river Nile from the pool area. Not really a 5* hotel, rather in Egypt hotels are one star less, will say the Steigenberger in Luxor was a 4* hotel. Quite a lot of package tourists. Pool area relatively small (once the hotel is fully booked, there will not be enough place for all people at the pool). |

The room was very nice for the amount we payed. The beds are wonderfully comfortable although the view is unremarkable unless you pay significantly extra for the Nile view. The restaurants varied and were all quite delicious-- the Thai restaurant in particular. The staff was friendly, but a little formal and didn't seem comfortable with accommodating unusual requests. |

Excellent hotel. Beautifull rooms. The food is for Egyptian standards very good. Nice swimmingpool with a greatl view on the NIle. Good atmosphere, perfect way of relaxing after a busy trip in Luxor and the beautifull surroundings of Luxor. One kilometres from Luxor Temple and cenrum Luxor. |

very charming courtyard area for dining and a very good show during dinner!I left my bag by accident after eating and it was returned to me at one of the bars almost immediately. Excellent service and honesty! The only criticism was the length of time for check-in and check-out. |

The front desk staff was amazing and were very good to us, considering our plans changed due to a mistake on the travel agents. The front office were extremely understanding, very much appreciated. Would recommend the hotel, nice rooms, nice views onto the nile and not too big! The restaurant (apart from the breakfast) and the staff there let the hotel down. |

It is extremely beautiful hotel, fantastic architecture like a temple. The rooms are very spacious and with big bathrooms and terasses. The food buffet is just great both for lunch and dinner, many restaurants and the way the hotel is build you do not feel that it is filled with toursits at all, it is very very calm by the pool and next to Nile! We aree very happy to stay there. |

Rapport qualité-prix au niveau de la chambre et des infrastructures annexes de l'hotel. Bar, restaurant, banque, etc Le personnel des services annexes (excursions, taxis, boutiques....) est parfois plus que "léger". Plumage de touristes en mode intensif et je-m'en-foutiste intégral. |

la posizione in riva al Nilo anche se l'affollamento eccessivo di hotel in quella zona ( sono esageratamente vicini l'uno all'altro) rende discutibile la posizione. è meglio quindi allontanarsi di poche Km e andare allo Sheraton. |

Die Lage des Hotels und dessen Architektur sind sehr gut. Das Fruehstueksbuffet ist hervorragend und der Blick auf den Nil atemberaubend. Auch die Abendveranstaltung (von 8 bis 10) ist sehenswert. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich, wenn auch nicht immer sehr hilfreich. |
