Smell at the room
That the pools are not heated
Beautiful location, easy commute from Cairo, grounds were well maintained. The staff was friendly.
1. The bed springs were so almost popping thru the mattress, time to invest in new mattresses. 2. We have stayed at this resort before and the room was perfect as was the food, both of those things have changed. They need to invest in some painting now. Bug smears on the wall are not decoration. 3. The food was a. Cold, consistently cold, no matter the time of day or night. Cold food. b. Many of the items were not fully cooked..for example, the potato salad the potatoes were almost raw, same with the steam vegetables. We brought both these items to the managers attention and he heard our concerns. On our final night, the food was better, but still cold. Ice cold. Nothing says ick like cold roast beef in gravy. Or a delicious looking beef wellington that is cold. Epic failure.
The hotel is nice and cosy, close to Cairo. not direct on the beach but close 5 minutes walk, or 2 minutes by free train or golf cart from hotel. It has nice swimming pools, and the landscape is very nice. The rooms are spacious.
The food was so bad, there was a lot of options but all taste bad and we all got very sick. Even the pasta station which is cooked in front of you was tasteless. The salads were smelly, the meat and chicken inedible. The bed mattresses were sink in and not comfortable. The pools are not heated so its freezing cold.
The food was very bad it is worth all the money paid for 2 night I could have paid them in a better place in Lebanon for example
The location and the weather was great, the artificial lakes was really nice and relaxing, the food was not bad Nice oriental nights at night
The room was really dusty and the bed was horribly the mattress is really old and ruined, the room was full of flees and I ordered any insecticide from room service like 4 or 5 times and I have never received them until I checked out, I had a problem with hot water when I checked in and after they sent the maintenance like an hour after they only found the water valve closed. Overall the hotel desperately needs renovation and the staff needs some training
The location is great, 90 minutes only from Cairo. The food was clean, albeit not very fancy. Good choice for a quick weekend break/business trip.
Given that it was my first time there, I got lost trying to get from the chalet to the restaurants. It was very dark at night, with not many directional signs to guide me.
Location and landscape Food is reasonably good
Stella hotels sell the weekends always to companies, the guests' behaviour is unbelievable starting from attitude in the restaurant, ending with shouting all the time, and you will always find children crying around you wherever you go. In the room, you hear the voices of the people in the adjacent room as if they are sitting with you, I couldn't sleep at all, decided to leave in the morning rather than spending the second night The hotel doesn't care about individuals, as long as they have the company groups It ends up that you are paying too much, and getting almost nothing
Garden view, animation team, beach, pool, staff, room service
Food ... the options and varieties were good but i think something was wrong with the hygenity because me and my wife got diarrhea and vomiting all of the three nights and especially after each meal
Close to cairo
The beach is not in the hotel. I ordered king bed and found twin beds. various kinds of food but the taste is missing something!
the midweek was rather quiet and enjoyable with beautiful gardens and 'private' pool. Beach is good. The room is comfortable and spacious.
Upon arrival we were charged a (much) higher price than confirmed by booking.com (??). After protesting, it was reduced slightly but still higher than previously confirmed (according to SdM this was due to 'dollar rate fluctuations'). Don't think that is fair as we are Egyptians and had a confirmation in local currency (Eg.pds) and the location is Egypt.
cozy beds in large rooms with excellent breakfast and average dinner. animation team was awesome
no water bottle in the minibar
