clean, confortable, employees are friendly. it´s noisy, but consider that all cairo hotels near a busy street are going to be the same. a bit far from the center. a 1hour 20min to the museum walking but its a 15 min drive by taxi which are very cheap. |

My impressions about swiss inn ni̇le hotel in Cairo (4stars hotel) I’d like to share with my intensions, opinions, experiments. I have already 4 days trip to Cairo with my wife and 2 childrens. We stayed SWISS INN NİLE HOTEL in Cairo (4stars hotel) at 8th floor that is why no more noise. Thank you for your booking. We had no problem with the hotel. There was no surprise. There was a good view of nile of our room. There is gift shop in the hotel. No internet in the rooms. There is a safe in the wardrobe for valuable things.İt was very useful. There is a small refrigerator but it didn’t work. Wardropes and shelfs are sufficient enough. Reception stuff is very interested and helpful. Restaurant people is also very polite, respectful and helpful. The staff's behaviours to guests are polite, good and helpful. Open buffet breakfast is super. upper floors(3-9) have a good nile view. The roof’s view was exellent. İt is a small area. At the roof There is a small and poor pool. But you can drink something with a wonderful nile view. Hotel is located on a very crowded traffic road. furniture is a bit old-fashioned. İn bathroom No hand soap and no shampoo in western sense. there is only liguid soap for hands and also liguid soap which is in a big box assembled on tih wall for baths. It shold b.e taken into consideration as 2 stars hotel not 4 stars in western sense.the corridors need to be furnised uni-color carpet. It may help to the hotel to make it warmer. It is by the nile but not in the rich and new region. All area surrounding the hotel is one of the poorist regions and peoples. The city is very dirty. very noisy. no traffic rules and traffc lights working. The travellers should be careful if they intend to walk on foot during the night. because most of the vehicles mostly do not turn on their lights during the nights. |

it is true that you can have Nile view in Swiss Inn Nile, but if you want a real Nile view you should prefer the more expensive hotels in downtown... |

The room sizes were good, the hotel was outside of the City Centre (down town Cairo, which I wouldn't recommend for anyone to stay in, for the Western traveller, the pollution and noise is far too much to cope with, especially if you're looking to relax). The Swiss Inn Nile Hotel is in a less polluted and busy area, however the area, much like the whole of Cairo was undesirable for women to be in alone. The hotel is generally acceptable, it's has a wonderful roof top view and seating area, along with a pool. The breakfast is great. The Bathroom was a let down in the room, it could and for a 4Star should have been cleaner. Some of the staff were very helpful however some are out to line their pockets by recommending certain tours and outtings that will leave you out of pocket but see them getting paid. That said some also suggested some good trips such as the Nile Night Cruise, so it's hit and miss. |

The hotel is located in the Giza area, which was the main reason that we chose it. We wanted to be close to the Pyramids as we only stayed in Cairo for a small trip in the capital. The location doesn't offer much of a view though. |

We were confortable with the toilette's bideh, and the cleanliness of the bathroom and the beds and the room...the breakfast( included in the price ) as open table was greate, they change the menu every day ..it was nice and rich breakfast...the swimming pool on the roof is nice with Cairo's view while you swim..and enjoye the night terrace cafeteria near the pool.. The area surround the hotel is industrial and popular don't walk around just take a taxi right away... |

Very friendly, polite and helpful personel. Reception staff particularly, offered to negotiate with taxi drivers which was a great help. Good breakfast, good service in the roof garden, great room. Hotel located in a rather rough area quite far from the centre. I love walking in cities, but this distance seemed rather impossible on foot. It's easy to get a taxi though, however make sure you get the right deal (about 20 egyprian pounds or 2,5 euros to the city centre). Ask reception's help on this one. |

The Staff at the hotel were very helpfull and pleaseant, The meals were also really good. One of the main reasons we picked this hotel was cause of the Tea/Coffee making facilities that were meant to be in the room but they were not. On the thursday night there was a party upstairs that went on quite late and you could hear all the noise from the room, the base noise was unbearable. |

The room service cost was supposed to included service and taxes according to the room service menu. But they added 2 pounds to everything I oredered!!! I had to argue at length with 3 people before they removed this added cost from just one of my orders. I had to pay the extra 2 pounds for every other order. |
