Excellent room. Very good position for the Airport, even if in Cairo is difficult to say that any place in is a good position due to the traffic. Professional staff prepared for all kind of request. Wireless internet connection a little bit expensive, but on the average of any european hotel. Of course it would be appreciated if it was free. |

Reasonable cost and quality Too cold! - my wife and I had to keep moving from the air blowing in our faces. We both had head colds all the time we were there - 6 days! |

the concorde el salam hotel is market as 5 star, but for the experienced traveller, this is more like a 4 then a 5 star hotel, but the fair price has have to come into consideration here. Airport pickup exellent, even though the bus is a bit old and worn out, only a short journey. Standard rooms with all you need, without any big extravagansa, clean. Staff was overall helpfull, and some were not Tipping as everywhere else in kairo is expected, even in the toilets inside the hotel. Placement is far from city, and transportation is needed if you want to get out of the hotel grounds. Internet is charged 10 us dollars a night. Breakfast buffet was good, and the indian restaurant was really good. Overall a decent hotel for a ok price. make tip for the staff included as a one time payment in the price. it is really a stress moment inside the hotel when your not even able to go to the bathroom without sombody standing there and expecting a tip for turning on the water for hand washing. |

Good staff, comfortable rooms, many facilities, very good breakfast, good restaurantes and leisure options and it is in a good area because Cairo is a very poor city with a very noise traffic and too much pollution. The hotel offers a free shuttle service but the driver ask money all the time in the same behaviour of the Cairo police that try to get money all the time in any place you go. |

Very quiet. We could recharge ourselves when exhausted by the confusion(?) of Cairo city. All restaurants closed for preparation of new year party on Dec.31 regardless of the letter of the hotel mentioned restaurants were still open. Hotel front desk did not know the closure of restaurants as well. It was terrible. |

I loved the fact that we were able to have a suite so our children had an interconnecting door and the staff were very ready to set up the extra bed which had not been sorted beforehand. We were only there for one night so didn't have much time to see but during the happy hour in the executive lounge the bar staff kept leaving the lounge and keeping customers waiting. This may have been a ploy to keep the alcohol levels down but it was irritating for everyone there. |

Too many extras to be paid for small services (12 % here, 10 % there, 2 % extra if diner costs are charged on the room ?!). I prefer a clear all- in price : no surprises. |

We spent a lovely three nights here right at the end of our trip - after three weeks in Egypt this was a welcome break from all the hustle & bustle of crazy Cairo. Out near the airport, it was quiet and peaceful - so rare in a city that never stops! |

It was great - staff was very nice and accomodations were perfect The picture of the pool and items shown on the website are not for the hotel that we booked but for their chain hotel in another town. That was disappointing as we booked based on the pool mainly! |

Friendly reception staff, very comfortable, quiet room and excellent service package. Staff can be very inflexible at times (just not used to the Western way of doing things) and very stingy with alcohol in drinks. Alcohol is very expensive. |
